The color is very well printed but I should’ve read that it cannot handle thick paper. Cardstock gets jammed.

so far, better than the HP it replaced. Spend more money up front, so the ink won't gouge me later. This was highly rated on a few websites, and I have liked it so far. I have yet to test the scanning part though.

    Great home office printer

Sturdy unit, not too big. Prints surprisingly fast, quality is fine, not too loud. Prints double sided without needing manual intervention, although it's slower than single sided. Wifi connection is very reliable, unlike some older printers I've had. It does go to sleep and has to be woken up manually, but connects seamlessly/quickly after I power it up. My use is home office/WFH, so I'm only printing documents and haven't attempted photos or anything other than standard weight letter sized paper. I love the ink tank feature - I was afraid it would be messy to install the ink but it wasn't at all. It came with a ton of ink, including three big bottles of black, which I use the most. It's cool that you can either load paper from below or from the back - from the back it keeps the paper flat, which is good for special papers. Scan quality is only acceptable, but I'm used to the high quality scanner on the big machine at work, where it's often hard to tell which is the original and which is the scanned version. I researched it ahead of time, and chose it because it was highly reviewed on Consumer Reports and not too expensive. Once I got it, I liked it enough that I recommended it to a co-worker while we're all stuck working from home. Best Buy shipping was the fastest available at the time of purchase.

Seems to be good so far. The screen noy being backlit is more aggravating than i anticipated but it isn't draining ink, graphics are crisp, printing is somewhat fast. I am happy with it overall

Have not had it too long but so far does what it is supposed to do. I love the large tanks. Was going broke buying the cartridges. Easy set up and it is wireless which I like. It does seem to turn off so when you want to print you have to push the on button. Not a big deal unless I am not in the room and want to print from my ipad or phone.

I originally took a gamble with this G6020 printer as I was trying to find a printer that would be able to print on 110lbs Cardstock Paper and i'm glad I took that gamble. The rear tray of this printer is able to accommodate the heavy Cardstock and it does it well with no paper jam (you can only use the cardstock on the rear tray). I used Canon Photo Gloss paper and pictures came out nice and clean as if I had them developed from a store. Regular printing is fast, some of the reviews on here say the printing is slow but it's actually quite fast not as fast as a laser jet printer but quick enough. Yes some of the prints on normal regular paper do look a little faded but thats expected with inkjet printers. Also, the new refillable ink is cheap no more having to pay for cartridges. my only Con is that it doesn't have a automatic feeder in which the G7020 has. I didn't have a need for it as I don't scan/copy multiple pages at a time and just fine doing 1 page at a time.

Hi. I have this printer set up in my office. Small business. I use about 1 1/2 reams of paper per month. Pro. For what I use this printer for it works well. Text prints out nice and sharp. The ink included in the box justifies the price and once I start buying the refill bottles, that is when this really becomes a value. Con. This sucker is slow compared to the previous printer I used. It was an HP office jet 68 something, I can't remember. Also, when printing half nak.., I mean color charts and pictures on plain paper, it looks washed out. I have not tried photo grade paper with it. Overall for my situation, this is a great printer. It may not be for you though based on the cons. Mamba out 24 RIP 8

This is an under-warranty replacement for a G4020 that failed in two years. Before I realized the G4200 was still under warranty I purchased a G7020 elsewhere. The only meaningful differences between the two are the G7 is auto-duplex and has scanning auto-feed. Both come with huge ink reservoirs and identical extra ink. Adding ink is as simple as can be, yet the reservoirs are so large it will take many thousands of pages' printing to ever require refills. WiFi connections, paper feeding, and print and scanning quality of both printers is excellent. I tend to use the G7 more and did once have to do deep cleaning, which worked OK.

I've always had ink jet printers but I've hated the cost of replacement cartridges. When I noticed tank printers I thought I would wait a few months just not to be a beta tester for new technology. I took the plunge and purchased this Canon G6020 to upgrade my home office. I am pleased with the output this unit provides. Good quality black and white, great color reproduction, and very stingy on ink use judging by the level in the windows. Filling the tanks was easy as long as you don't rush the process, and you do get extra tubes of black ink which should last a long time. The only downside I have found is the print speed is a bit slow. But since I don't have to meet any deadlines this isn't a major factor for me. Once I set it up on my home network I have had no problem using it from any connected device, and the only hitch I've had is using it from an iPad I have to remember to force it to print from the bottom feed tray instead of the default top one. I'm sure there is a setting that I've overlooked to fix that issue, but it's no big deal. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

My whole life, I have been buying cheap printers and have been disappointed. Most of my printers have never worked correctly, or run out of ink immediately and then you realize the ink costs more than the printer! Well, not so with this printer. The Canon PIXMA MegaTank G6020 comes with so much ink. It will print thousands of pages before you even need to refill it, and even then, it comes with 2 refills for the black ink! Also, it was incredibly easy to get the wireless connected and drivers installed. It did take a little time, so I'd leave at least an hour if you think you can do it quickly. There is a lot to set up. That being said, this is as nice as most printers I've used in offices. I am very impressed by the print quality and I have printed both black and white and color. My only very small complaint is that it doesn't come with a printing cable at all. I already have one, and maybe most people do, but I was surprised by that. It would be nice to be able to have someone able to just hook up their computer if they need to print something, instead of having to go through the wireless setup every time. (Not that it's difficult, but it does take a bit of time.)

I love this printer. This is new for me with ink refill reservoirs. Way cheaper to print than the cartridges. You can even replace print heads yourself when the run out. Set up was a breeze. Print quality on paper is exact. I'm impressed with the photo print images as well.

Satisfied with purchase. It took a while to install for wifi use. I had to go through prompts to locate printer but I finally was able to get it going. This does print slow, which is a bummer. But, the prints are great. I also printed a couple of photos and they were pretty good for only 4 inks. I like that the printer stays on so I don't have to worry about running across the room to always power it up. I read some reviews that said it powers down, but mine doesn't. Paper can be used from tray or from rear. Overall, happy with printer mainly because it does produce great prints

I was hesitant about buying a more expensive printer up front. But overall, I'm glad with my purchase, and would buy it again. A few things: PROS: 1. Setup was easy and simple. Took about 15 mins total 2. The prints are clear and sharp 3. I don't need to hassle with ink for a long time. 4. It's duplex functionality is AMAZING. I forgot how amazing duplex is. you save A TON of paper. 5. I'd buy it again if it broke today. CONS: 1. The printer doesn't wake when you try to print. You need to manually turn it on before you can print. It's a hassle, but not a deal breaker. 2. When printing PDF's the printer thinks it's a picture (which it technically is, but I wish you could change that), therefore it tries to print from the back photo paper slot. It then says it's out of paper because you put that paper inside the slots in single sheets. 3. It's slightly slower that others (in my work office). But it's not a commercial printer, so I can live with it. Summary: I like it and I'd buy again. It's higher quality than most in my opinion. I love that I don't have to worry about ink cartridges. Do yourself a favor and go buy this printer. You'll be happy with it.
