Good and functional but a bit loud when printing

It was easy to connect to our wireless network using the Canon SELPHY app. The LCD screen on the printer is a bit hard to see for my aging eyes but it is visible. One odd thing about the printer is that the control panel needs to be raised open instead of flush to the chassis for it to print. One star off for how loud the printer is when it is printing. Quality of print is good and the speed for printing is decent. Scan is also good. I would recommend this to people if they do not care about how loud the printer is while it is printing.

Easy to set up, but the instructions to set up wireless read like a IKEA manual, had to down the manual and with help of You Tube, got it done. Works great, like the new ink system, prints, copies & scans faster than than my old Canon. Wireless response is faster too. Over last 20 yr. owbed 3 other canon printers as they were reliable, good print quality, and durable. Gave it a 4 star due to the lack of good instructions

Good printer so far. A little difficult to get connected, especially if you change your network settings after setup. Could not get it to connect via Ethernet cable at all, only wireless Ethernet. Takes a while to “warm up”, but not a big deal for me. Print quality is pretty good, I have not tried to print pictures, but simple graphics look good. Biggest plus is the jumbo tank sizes and came with three jumbo black tanks. And when those do finally run out they are not ridiculously expensive to replenish.

The Tanks were so easy to fill, and the setup is a breeze. A great allinone printer with very easy use. First Canon printer ever purchased and well worth it.

Decent product but WHY THE 150 DOLLAR PRICE INCREASE??? Come we can do better than that! People are getting SICK OF PRICE INCREASES! I would recommend but not purchasing at 320 dollars when it was 179.00, THAT IS RIDICULOUS!

Set up was so easy, there are even videos to make it clear if you have any doubt at all. Through internet access, my devices recognized the printer/scanner without any effort on my part. Quality is as described. Love it!

Great tank printer. Not the fastest thing out there but the print quality is well worth the slightly longer wait. Photo prints look awesome, colors aren't 100% accurate but definitely good enough to preserve and display memories in photo books and frames. I was also impressed with how sharp text is from this printer. Now, I did end up going for the step up model with the ADF but that was personal preference. So if you don't need that feature go for this one and save a little bit.

I replaced an hp8710 with this printer. It is smaller in size, works great, and uses ink reservoirs indtead of expensive ink cartridges.

I picked this up to replace a 7 year old Canon Pixma MX-922 that needed a print hear replacement. When I found out how much that cost I opted for a new printer as it was just slightly above the cost of a new print head. This is a fine printer, though i wish it a better control panel as the LCD display is small and hard to ready. Come on Canon this isn't the 1990s anymore. Printing is decent speed, though I'm still trying to dial in the color profiles to match my display screen for printing photos.

I don't print a lot right now but may start printing pictures in the near future now that I have this printer. The HP that I had prior was good but the ink cartridges were too expensive. Canon has a good reputation for photo quality prints and I'm hoping that that will be true with this printer.

Love the new printer. Picture quality is good. No touch screen which I though was odd, and the control panel is a little confusing at times. Still trying figuring out the menu settings, which are not clear in the instructions.
