I've had an HP all-in-one that has been great. I got this because it was a tank design and had read over the long haul it would save money in ink and did very well with pictures. I am least happy with it not staying "asleep" but turning itself off when not used for awhile. The HP went to sleep and awakened without having to turn it back on manually. Given the advantage of wireless printing to have your printer in another room this seems like a significant oversight. Of course, there may be a way to make this happen that I just don't know!

This is a great printer. Easy to set up. I was worried about spilling the ink but it was not an issue. Prints really well. My photos looked great. I like that it shuts off when you are not using it. It has a smaller footprint than my last Canon.

I like having this printer. The ink last longer than most printers that I've had. The color is fine and I have had no problems with it. I've had it for two days. The Canon set-up videos make it easy to set up.

Easy to set up, but the instructions to set up wireless read like a IKEA manual, had to down the manual and with help of You Tube, got it done. Works great, like the new ink system, prints, copies & scans faster than than my old Canon. Wireless response is faster too. Over last 20 yr. owbed 3 other canon printers as they were reliable, good print quality, and durable. Gave it a 4 star due to the lack of good instructions

Good printer so far. A little difficult to get connected, especially if you change your network settings after setup. Could not get it to connect via Ethernet cable at all, only wireless Ethernet. Takes a while to “warm up”, but not a big deal for me. Print quality is pretty good, I have not tried to print pictures, but simple graphics look good. Biggest plus is the jumbo tank sizes and came with three jumbo black tanks. And when those do finally run out they are not ridiculously expensive to replenish.

Love this printer! It is always ready and the ink rollers do not dry out like some other brands. Easy to refill and has refillable ink that really last a long time.

At first I was disappointed at the output quality of the photos I had scanned (on a separate Epson V500) when testing using plain paper. Reading other reviews indicated issues with photo quality but like others, I have found that using the "Correct Paper", Settings AND, a quality PHOTO EDITOR, helped the printer generate some nice looking glossy photos. I tested out 5 different editors and the more sophisticated they were, they could properly render the image correctly on the printer. It is not as good as photo dedicated printers but pretty darn good for an all purpose unit. I recommend doing a number of test prints to get acquainted with the output relative to the printer settings you select as well as the editor being used. The ink utilization is also efficient. Cannot complain and have been using it for all kinds of output even though I do have four other printers.

Comes with a huge amount of black ink. Great quality photo printing. A slight pain to get the driver downloaded. Using the supplied CD, it couldn't find the printer. Finally got it to work by doing it through the website. App does great for mobile printing, but I wish it would turn itself on when I send a document versus having to go turn it on for the printer to show on my device so I can send it. I'm happy overall.

I love this printer, it's one of the best around and worth every penny. The ink tanks are easy to refill and worth the money that you will save if you do a lot of printing out.

I picked this up to replace a 7 year old Canon Pixma MX-922 that needed a print hear replacement. When I found out how much that cost I opted for a new printer as it was just slightly above the cost of a new print head. This is a fine printer, though i wish it a better control panel as the LCD display is small and hard to ready. Come on Canon this isn't the 1990s anymore. Printing is decent speed, though I'm still trying to dial in the color profiles to match my display screen for printing photos.

Great tank printer. Not the fastest thing out there but the print quality is well worth the slightly longer wait. Photo prints look awesome, colors aren't 100% accurate but definitely good enough to preserve and display memories in photo books and frames. I was also impressed with how sharp text is from this printer. Now, I did end up going for the step up model with the ADF but that was personal preference. So if you don't need that feature go for this one and save a little bit.

My wife and I purchased a printer a year ago to replace one that broke down. We were happy with it, but when my wife’s workload increased, being a teacher, we found ourselves buying printer cartridges almost every two weeks. During the summer, my wife showed me the Canon Megatank series of printers, and we were interested, especially with the amount of ink that came with the printer. We calculated that the printer would pay for itself in about two months. Based on that, we found the purchase of the Canon G6020 Megatank printer to be a great investment. If you purchase this printer, and you have a Mac, you will need to have an internet connection in addition to your computer, because the printer setup is an online process. Also, while it is not a deal breaker, we found that the Canon printer app takes some getting used to. But if you are willing to play with it, the printer app will work for you.

Set up was so easy, there are even videos to make it clear if you have any doubt at all. Through internet access, my devices recognized the printer/scanner without any effort on my part. Quality is as described. Love it!
