So far very easy to use and it comes with a lot of ink. Very user friendly. If you have kids and they need stuff to print, then grab this printer. I printed well over 100 pages the first day use and no issues.

So far I am pretty impressed with this printer. The eco feature is pretty nice in that it turns itself off after an amount of idle time and it seems to have decent print quality on stock paper. Only time will tell how long the ink tanks last but at the price at which the refill bottles go for I am not so worried about the refilling part. The ink cartridges for all for cost less than any HP Printer and last much longer. My old HP print cartridges cost me as much in one year as the total purchase price of this printer. Setup is a little more difficult than past Canon printers but that is minor in comparison to what my cost savings is. HP is behind the 8 ball in the printer world. I would recommend one of these to anybody.

Prints good for regular printing and photos but the printer was difficult to setup. WiFi would not connect until I used the WPS method. Still can’t get the canon utility to download and work on windows computer. The Canon app does work on my IPad. Downloaded the manual but it is poorly written. Have had much cheaper printers before and never had this much trouble.

Like it a lot so far (had it about 30 days). The set up was pretty easy. Only difficulty we had was getting it connected to the wifi but some of that was not knowing which option to choose for our router. Putting in the wifi password was a nightmare due to the biggest drawback for the machine - this very tiny, very dated "screen". To "type" you have to scroll through the whole alphabet for every letter. I was worried about filling the ink wells, but it was very easy and no mess, even for a klutz like me. The 2nd negative I have experienced is that it turns itself off and turning it back on requires physically pushing the power button. All my previous printers has utilized a low power sleep mode instead, automatically waking up when a print job is sent. This one does NOT. If you try to print without hitting the power button, it fails. This is a big change for us and super annoying, but may not be a drawback if you are used to this behavior. As for printing, it prints slowly but I knew that going in so not a huge deal. The colors seem very subdued but I've only printed a couple things in color so am withholding my final opinion on that still. Overall opinion - it's good, especially if you are tired to death of buying ink cartridge's all the time and having them go dry or mess up. Don't pay MSRP, but if it's on sale, it's worth it.

Canon is simply the BEST home-oriented printer!

I've used Canon printers for about 40 years for my home printing needs, and always been able to print out color work which is hands-down cleaner, sharper, and easier than any other printer on the market - and at an affordable price I might add. I couldn't find the Canon printer I wanted last year when I needed to upgrade my home computing/printing needs, so I bought an HP all-in-one color printer, and it turned out to be exactly as useless as I've found them to be for 40 years. So I kept searching and finally found a Canon-Pixma MegaTank Wireless Inkjet Printer last month, and it's still the best home printing system on the market - when they're not sold out.

I purchased this printer to replace another Canon. After 7 years, the old Canon was still working great, I was just tired of buying printer ink as my printing needs have increased. I upgraded to Canon after ready many reviews. The price was right as well. Set up was super easy. It will plug directly into the computer, but I do wireless printing. I was intimated at first with the big ink bottles, but it was really easy and no mess at all. I love the fact that I can load more paper into the cassette as well.

I would like to say that this is the best printer that I have had in a while. While I do not really purchase printers very often, it was necessary as my old one was just not cutting it. The ink lasts forever and the printing speed is pretty good. The only complaint I have is that the little screen is pretty annoying when trying to set things up. You have to use the arrow buttons to navigate and it is not very intuitive. Once you get past that minor annoyance it really is a very good printer and I am sure that most would be very pleased. Recommend.

When I can get this machine to print it works fine. We had a difficult time installing the printer. I was surprised to learn from the Geek Squad technician who finally figured out the problem. We have a 5G network but according to the tech most printers do not recognize or support 5G. I found this explanation odd in this 5G world. I gave printed documents but printing photos is difficult because the printer does not want to switch auto to photo paper as the computer has requested. Early days but I am debating a dedicated photo printer. That would be a shame as I wanted to reduce the number of printers with this addition.

This is not a fax, nor a multi-page copier/scanner. While it does scan, it’s best feature is the printing- multiple times with seriously cost-effective ink. It’s fast, and for that reason alone, it’s great for those jobs where constantly running out of ink could be a problem. The only reason for only four stars is my over-burdened network does not work for air printing.

This printer is awesome. I have had it for about a month. It was very easy to set up (installing ink etc). Quick to connect to my laptop and my phone. I love that is will print on both sides of the paper without my needing to flip and put paper back in.

This printer was bought for my father-in-law. He probably was one of the last people who used a dot matrix printer. He was very pleased with the printer and how fast it printed one sheet. He chose black and white printer because he just writes letters. It makes it easier to change the ink too.

I might have had high expectations but the print quality is meh but I guess for the value and the amount of ink you get, that's what we get.

This is the first tank ink printer I have owned. I have re-filled the tanks since my purchase, and use this a lot. I use this for school projects, printing information and scanning. I like the tanks better than the cartridges (although my last printer I used refillable cartridges) and it is easy to fill/refill the tanks. Quality is good with printing and scanning.

The display is not backlit, so I have to use a flashlight to see what it shows. The setting for printing is difficult to make changes for 1 print. I want to use only black ink for draft copies, and I get a warning dialog box. It stops printing quit often to run it adjustment. It uses more ink than the HP version.
