Works Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice printer that is easy to set up and use. I love the fact that I don't have to deal with cartridges any more. If there is any 1 drawback that could be changed, the information screen is not backlit, and that makes it a little more difficult to read.

It's a Work Horse
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this for my work at home printer for 2 years. I go through about 500 sheets a week. Zero jams and have refilled ink twice. This well printer is SO much more economical than those little cartridges. The tiny little screen could use an upgrade.

Super easy to use and great printer.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great print quality. Can be a bit slow at times. Cannon has done a great job of giving detailed video instructions for each step with scannable qr codes taking you directly to the video of that step.

Good printer for price; poor user interface
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price was good for a lower end printer that is also economical with ink. The output quality is what you expect with ink savings and better without. I have not tried photo quality. However, the user interface is a pain. Print settings are ok, though I had a heck of a time turning off duplex. What frustrates me most is the lack of any back light or contrast in the small LED window on the face of the printer. I need a flashlight to read it and it's not as straightforward as it should be. I am super picky about user interface. Others will probably find it fine.

Prints great but status display is horrible
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the large ink tanks to avoid having to buy cartridges constantly. The printer makes great prints and photo prints so no complaints on primary scanning and printing functions. However, the status display is not backlit and impossible to read without a lot of light. I keep a flashlight by the printer in order to read the status display. It is hard to believe that Canon couldn't afford to, at minimum, put a backlight on the plain LCD screen let alone not put a real touch display on this printer like they do some of the cheaper and lower end models.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I like this printer, it works well and like the fact that the ink is easy to load. The only thing that needs improvement is the instructions that come with it

It's good but not great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe it's just me but I had a bit of an issue selecting which tray to feed out of and also in 2020 a new printer should be faster than that. It's slower than my older unit. It prints great plus you can print double sided and with the ink tanks you save lots of money. I bought this unit because the price to replace ink cartridges on my old printer was almost the price of the printer itself. This one was kinda pricey but I think it's worth it.

Love my new printer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as a replacement for another Canon printer. Only complaint is the window does not light up which makes it difficult to see what action to take unless I have a light shining directly on it.

Good home office printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer because of the ink bottles. The cartridges on my old printer would dry up if I didn’t use it regularly so hoping this one will fix that issue for me. I wish the display was backlit and a little larger for easier use. Other than that one observation it works well for me for home office use.

Canon G6020 Printer Is Great/User-Friendly
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having a miserable time trying to make use of an HP Envy printer I'd purchased just a few months earlier, the HP Envy printer was as non-user-friendly as one could be to operate, I went to the local Best Buy store in search for a printer that would be user-friendly, easy to operate, and reliable. With the assistance of the salesperson, evaluating the tradeoffs between the various printers, I settled on the Canon G6020. I have to say that despite the financial loss in tossing out the HP Envy printer, purchasing the Canon G6020 printer has proven to have been a wise and worthwhile purchase. Setting up the Canon printer was incredibly straightforward and easy, and I choose to use the wire connection option, I was printing material within a half hour of the Canon printer having been delivered, and it has been incredibly reliable even after I have shutdown my desktop computer and then restart the desktop computer a day or two later. The difference in easy of use (user-friendliness/reliability) between the HP Envy printer and the Canon G6020 is like night-and-day. Based on my experience thus far with the Canon G6020, I would recommend serious consideration of Canon products when in need of a printer. Also, I want to note that I have been highly impressed with the understanding/patience/knowledge/guidance provided by Best Buy representatives not only for this specific purchase, but a number of purchases I've made over the years.

You need this printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Print quality is second to none. Love the ink tank. Ink tanks are very easy to fill. The Ink Is reasonably priced. The printer holds plenty of paper. Love the fact that it prints double-sided. Printer is slightly slow but given all of the pluses it’s no big deal. This printer is very easy to set up for wireless printing, the best that I have ever owned. If you’re looking for the best inkjet you’ve ever owned this is going to be it.

Printer working fine after frustrating set up
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer installation was very frustrating in terms of setting to wireless. Had to get the Geek Squad into the house to establish the proper settings for the wireless. Also, the printer would not print color pictures... so I contacted the Geek Squad and they remoted in and set everything ... however, it still wouldn’t print in color. After much effort, my grandson discovered you needed to turn off a prompt that allowed an app to control the printing. When we did that the pictures were beautiful. Everything working properly now and look forward to economical color printing.

Great replacement and less costing ink!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and I love that the ink is individual. The cost of the refills are a lot cheaper than the 2 I had to buy for my previous printer. Now what to do with those cartridges?? I’m glad that I replaced my small printer with this one.

Great low cost prints
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have rated the printer higher but it makes very light photo copies on photo paper. It makes great prints of documents, both b/w and color. The tank ink is very affordable and the printer makes thousands of prints from one tank fill.

So far, it has done everything I hoped it would
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given it 5 stars, but the setup was not as easy as I thought it should be. I followed the directions, but could not it to access my wi-fi until I entered the password manually. Print quality so far is fine, but I have not printed photos yet.

Excellent printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a printer to replace an Epson that had a blocked print head. The Canon G6020 seems to be a great replacement so far. It has massive ink tanks that were easy to fill, without making a mess. An added bonus is the print head is replaceable, unlike the Epson. Print quality is excellent too. Only little annoyance is the display panel is quite low-tech, but hardly ever needed, so not a concern for me.
