Good printer/scanner for my needs. Easy to set up except for wifi connection which was confusing and took longer than it should to set up. Ink wells are cool and easy to fill. No more cartridges to buy. Operator panel is confusing and you have to search the online manual to find instructions on most features. Would have been nice to have a short manual for instructions for the most popular features like rear paper loading and duplex printing. Some features - scanning - work with software from a previous Canon printer but it is trial and error. Best features: print from tray and rear feed, scanning, remote printing from my phone.

Looking for a printer, I've always trusted Cannon, and this printer doesn't disappoint, Sitting on the corner of my desk it takes up little space, The print quality is good and the pictures turn out OK.

Set up is pretty easy but there is no instruction manual. Everything is online and I couldn’t find specifics for instructions I was looking for. I had some difficulty using the back tray—setting up envelopes. I bought this printer for the back tray so it could be dedicated to printing envelopes, while the front tray is dedicated to document printing. It turns out I can’t get the printer to correctly print envelopes from my iPad. That means I have to use my laptop to print envelopes. It’s not very convenient since I mostly use my iPad for everything. If I could find instructions I could go into settings and change whatever setting needs to change so I could print envelopes from my iPad. As much as I’ve always loved canon printers the last two I’ve had are not as user friendly as I would like—this one included. That doesn’t mean I don’t like the printer at all because I do. But the next printer I get will have to be much more user friendly. But considering I just got this one this month that might be awhile.

Does a great job for my printing needs highly reccomended

Two line B/W "Screen" is a big downgrade from previous printers. OCR is essentially useless. Never could get it to connect print/scan wirelessly but only via wired connection. I hope that the "big ink tanks" are worth it.

I bought this printer for simple working at home printing and scanning. When it works its fine, its just getting it to work. The wireless set up was really buggy and in the end didn't work. Canon's online help page was pretty useless. Had to buy a additional cord in order for my computer to find both the printer and scanner. I've tried this printer with both a Mac and PC and had problems connecting with both. There have been issues with the printer reading weather or not there is paper in the tray. Issues printing multiple docs at once. And then just other random issues with just getting the printer to print. Print quality is okay but I wouldn't describe it as "High resolution". Wouldn't recommend this printer.

Excellent printer. Really like the wireless capability and ability to print from my phone. Replaces my 15 year old printer that never failed to print until the day it shorted out and could not be repaired.

Awesome computer. Printer will do documents of beautiful pictures. Printer is easy to use. I think the liquid ink is going to save me money when printing pictures.

Forget the high cost of ink cartridges. This printer is relatively compact, scans very quickly and has a simple to configure WiFi interface. I bought three and couldn't be happier.

The unit is superb at printing, scanning and copying. The ink tanks are much better than the cartridges and last a long time. Image quality and speed are terrific. I hope it lasts along time.

easy set-up and plentiful ink. prints a little slowly, but great prints.

Bought this printer to save on ink. It’s great, has a lot on printing modes. Great feature is that paper stay inside the printer in a cassete. Printing quality is great even in economic mode.

So far so good. Very easy to setup, and getting other family members is fast and simple. Just have to get used to putting photo paper in back slot. There is no plugin for non-WiFi or bluetooth.

This printer was very difficult to set up and I have still been unable to get it to scan. The menu screen is very difficult to read and to code. The printing is nice and sharp. It is relatively fast after warm up. For a home printer it has a small footprint, which is nice.

I bought this printer to replace a G7060 series that the rear door wouldn’t close all the way on which rendered it useless. Within a month this one did the same thing despite being in a completely protected area. I am very unhappy!
