Nice printer for the money. Devise that holds the paper being discharged from the printer is a little flimsy. Set up was easy. Print looks good. Sometimes it seems as though it is a little slow to respond to the commands. Ink seems to last a long time. Last Canon Printer I had sucked up the ink.

My old printer died just as the pandemic hit. I did a lot of research of reviews at Best Buy and on Consumer Reports and decided to go with an ink tank printer. I was averaging over $200 a year in ink cartridges with my old Canon printer. This Canon MegaTank G6020 actually comes with enough ink for 18,000 black and white and about 6000 color prints. Working from home I have been making hundreds of copies and the tanks are completely full. Average cost for ink is less than $20 per year. Color photos don't print quite as well as my old printer but still look better than most home printers do. Black and white prints are fast and sharp and I like that you can keep regular copy paper in the front tray but also have specialty paper loaded in the back ready to use. Only downside I have noticed is that the printer was tricky to set up with our Apple computers (set up disk is PC only- you have to find a driver online to download) and it has an energy saving auto-off feature, so I still need to get used to turning on the printer each time before I print.

Bought this Canon PIXMA MegaTank G6020 printer right after buying another brand's cheaper but non-functional printer. It's working fine for me so far, since mid-April, for light use (taxes). Was concerned at first by the instructions but I got it to do what I needed without a problem. The print isn't as crisp as you find with an office laser printer, but it's fine for my needs.

The print quality is great and I really like being able to feed paper from the back. The ink lasts forever too. I used this to print all of my wedding invitations and thank you cards, I even printed save the dates on seed paper, which the rear feed function was crucial for such thick paper. However, it does randomly have issues with connection or printing and needs to be rebooted. Also, if you don't use it very often (I went a month without using it) the ink can clog up and you have to do a flush.

If you’re looking for a good printer with doc scan and copying, you’re in luck! This is one of the best printers I’ve used, and definitely convenient! Well worth the amount that it is set as, and I truly enjoy that it takes ink tanks rather than cartridges, a lot more cost effective.

This printer turns itself off after a period of time, I do not like that when I am in my den and want to print something I have to get up and turn it back on. I finally found settings yesterday to change that but not sure it is working. When the power goes off it loses the password or something and shows offline. I could not figure out how to put the wifi password into the printer as there is no abc/123 keyboard. I tried the wps button yesterday and it is working so far, but the power has not gone off since. Love the ink capacity, is quite, holds a lot of paper. I have not tried to print photos yet so I can not tell you the quality of the photos. So far I would buy again hoping the settings I changed yesterday fix the items I did not like about the printer.

Not buying ink all the time is great. It powers down by itself all the time so plan ahead if you are in a hurry. Quality so far is good. Hoping that this printer lasts as long as my Epson did...over 10 years.

I am very satisfied with this Canon printer. I have only owned it for one month, but I believe it will be a good reliable printer. It was easy to install and I have been impressed with the ability to print photos not only from my computer but also from my cell phone. That was a great perk. I am also pleased with the quality of printing and the quality of photos. Another great thing I am looking forward to is not having to buy cartridges at all. The liquid ink should last a long time.

We bought this printer to replace our Canon Pixma 882 multifunction inkjet. We wanted something smaller, that is lower cost to operate and that prints, scans and copies. Also wanted something that was easy to connect to wirelessly and didn't take a long time to wake up and print when something was sent to it. If you want the same things then look no further than this one! It does all those things and come with enough black ink to print 20,000+ pages. Comes with enough color ink to print 6k to 7k color pages. The real great part is the cost of ink is way less. They achieve this by finally separating the print heads and the ink. Traditional inkjet cartridges come with the print heads built in this cost significantly more. This printer has the print heads that are separate so then you are only paying for the ink that comes in a bottle that you use to fill the corresponding reservoir. They are designed to fill it exactly and with no mess. This printer handles regular paper, photo paper up to 8 1/2 × 11 and some heavier stock paper using the feeder on the back. Was easy to set up on our network and to connect all our devices (laptops, tablets and phones) and can print directly to it from all of them. Printing quality is excellent and what I expect from Canon since I have owned 2 Canons prior to this on. This is so far my favorite one.

This is our first ink well printer...it was very easy to set up and fill with ink. Some complained that the setup was difficult with the provided screen, but I thought the website did a good job walking us through the setup. Printed pages were what I expected. Would buy again.

I really love this printer! Its great. I have printed photos, bookmarks , i have used various different paper from different brands, sticker paper , photo paper and they have all been compatible and really good to use. The only complaint i have is that it asks me constantly what size paper i am using and for some reason its just odd about that.

A Workhorse of a printer. The mega tanks offer us and extremely high yield of printing. The printer was easy to set up and Wireless connections were easy to configure. Definitely consistent with the usual Canon quality

So far so good.I’ve only had it for a couple months but it was easy set up. The directions were a little confusing because there doesn’t seem to be an actual reason to download the app they tell you to download. It comes with a lot of ink so I think it will last awhile. Printer isn’t very loud and it’s fast enough. The only thing I don’t like is you need to keep the keyboard popped out for it to print. Happy with this purchase.

Perfect for my needs! Easy to set up. Great quality prints

The printer was easy to set up. It was also easy to connect it to our home wifi network. The print quality is quite good. The only issue I had was that it defaults to having to manually wake it up. I had to search the manual to find out how to change the setting to wake up when it starts to receive data. Once I changed the setting, it worked great.

i have printed documents and 5x7 photos; all good quality. easy to set up. have easily printed from both ios16 and windows 11. this is my second canon printer, sadly i only had to replace due to software was obsolete for my 11yr old model. i recommend this for home office and hobbies.

Love the design of this printer and the ease of filling the ink tanks. Black and white prints printed just fine. Colored prints from photographs did not print well. They came out foggy. Not sharp like the original photo. Although the test print printed just fine. Thought it was the printer so I returned it and got another one of the same make and model. It also printed photographs with a foggy film over the picture. Kind of like taking a picture in the fog. NOT acceptable. Returned it and got another brand although I really like Canon printers, but this one didn't make the cut.

I like that it uses tanks for ink & prints clearly. It was easy to setup. Drawbacks are it is slow, noisy, and the screen does not light up therefore hard to read it's messages.

The Canan Printer is very reliable for what it is intended to do. It prints out fast; the ink is easy to install and easy to navigate. I would buy this product again.

Great pictures. Ease of use. Fill tanks. There is almost nothing I don't like about this printer. The software and screen could use some more love though. Not too much of a hassle, tho. I'm only giving it 4/5 on Ease of Use mostly because of the software. The screen? Would be nice to have a bigger screen. However, navigating the screen - while a bit of a pain - is not so much of a problem. The pictures? FANTASTIC.
