Sick of spending a fortune on ink? Consider G6020.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased the Canon PIXMA MegaTank G6020 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet printer to replace a seven year old Canon color laser printer which was beginning to malfunction. I love the G6020. My wife and I have printed something every day since we purchased it 2 months ago and the ink levels are still near 50%. We’ve printed massive escrow document packages with ease, plenty of paper capacity in the large main tray. The G6020 is capable of printing fairly good quality photographs on photo paper, the printer can print all the way to the edges. One feature that I have found to be surprisingly useful is the Canon PRINT mobile phone app synced with the G6020 printer. You can check ink levels, run printer diagnostics, and get support from your phone. I use the PRINT app to assist me in scanning documents and converting them to pdf files. with the PRINT app and the G6020 printer, I can scan, convert, and email documents effortlessly from my phone. Buy this printer.

Good office printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good office printer. I use this for a small office, very efficient with ink, and good print quality. This will print out normal documents, color charts, recipes, etc. very well, but this is NOT a good photo printer, it's not meant to be; just know that going in so you have realistic expectations. Ink is easy to fill, and I like the system much better than one of the Epsons I've also tried. It seems much less likely to make a mess, and you can see the ink levels much better. I like that there's a rear-tray that you can select separately - I use that to load checks or specialty paper without having to empty the main tray. This is much less noisy and cheaper to operate than the color laser printer it replaced. Overall very happy with this printer so far.

Great for home office
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was very easy to set up. The color is good the only issue I have with it is there is a delay sometimes from 10 seconds to a minute before it starts printing after you try to air print some thing. Other than that it works awesomely

Excellent Printer for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an eco tank printer and has a lot of ink come with the printer in the box. Printing quality is the usual for Canon printers, but I love how easy it is to fill the tank and how long it lasts! Very good value for the price!

Good product but not worth the 150 dollar hike.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent product but WHY THE 150 DOLLAR PRICE INCREASE??? Come we can do better than that! People are getting SICK OF PRICE INCREASES! I would recommend but not purchasing at 320 dollars when it was 179.00, THAT IS RIDICULOUS!

Great printer with great value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up, this printer is now our “go to” for printing anything in the house. The only drawback is the lack of the ADF for scanning - but we still have another printer set up that can handle the massive scanning needs while this capable printer handles inexpensive printing needs. Also, high quality picture printing is also on its plate. Highly recommend.

Worth Every Penny!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this printer!! Its efficient prints fast was easy to setup love that it has double sided printing automatically. Printed quality pictures cant tell I printed them at home. So far Id say this is the best printer I have ever owned and Ive owned many over 25 years!! Worth the extra money because you save it with the refillable ink cartridge. I have an autistic child so I also printed on fabric transfer sheets to iron on labels and Its held up through the washes as well. With being able to do mostly from my phone with ease. Love it Recommend it! Also love cannon products

prob the best in the price segment
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so far, better than the HP it replaced. Spend more money up front, so the ink won't gouge me later. This was highly rated on a few websites, and I have liked it so far. I have yet to test the scanning part though.

Great home office printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sturdy unit, not too big. Prints surprisingly fast, quality is fine, not too loud. Prints double sided without needing manual intervention, although it's slower than single sided. Wifi connection is very reliable, unlike some older printers I've had. It does go to sleep and has to be woken up manually, but connects seamlessly/quickly after I power it up. My use is home office/WFH, so I'm only printing documents and haven't attempted photos or anything other than standard weight letter sized paper. I love the ink tank feature - I was afraid it would be messy to install the ink but it wasn't at all. It came with a ton of ink, including three big bottles of black, which I use the most. It's cool that you can either load paper from below or from the back - from the back it keeps the paper flat, which is good for special papers. Scan quality is only acceptable, but I'm used to the high quality scanner on the big machine at work, where it's often hard to tell which is the original and which is the scanned version. I researched it ahead of time, and chose it because it was highly reviewed on Consumer Reports and not too expensive. Once I got it, I liked it enough that I recommended it to a co-worker while we're all stuck working from home. Best Buy shipping was the fastest available at the time of purchase.

Great printer, can’t do thick paper
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The color is very well printed but I should’ve read that it cannot handle thick paper. Cardstock gets jammed.

Excellent printer with excellent features
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally took a gamble with this G6020 printer as I was trying to find a printer that would be able to print on 110lbs Cardstock Paper and i'm glad I took that gamble. The rear tray of this printer is able to accommodate the heavy Cardstock and it does it well with no paper jam (you can only use the cardstock on the rear tray). I used Canon Photo Gloss paper and pictures came out nice and clean as if I had them developed from a store. Regular printing is fast, some of the reviews on here say the printing is slow but it's actually quite fast not as fast as a laser jet printer but quick enough. Yes some of the prints on normal regular paper do look a little faded but thats expected with inkjet printers. Also, the new refillable ink is cheap no more having to pay for cartridges. my only Con is that it doesn't have a automatic feeder in which the G7020 has. I didn't have a need for it as I don't scan/copy multiple pages at a time and just fine doing 1 page at a time.

You should get one!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this printer. This is new for me with ink refill reservoirs. Way cheaper to print than the cartridges. You can even replace print heads yourself when the run out. Set up was a breeze. Print quality on paper is exact. I'm impressed with the photo print images as well.

Pro and cons
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi. I have this printer set up in my office. Small business. I use about 1 1/2 reams of paper per month. Pro. For what I use this printer for it works well. Text prints out nice and sharp. The ink included in the box justifies the price and once I start buying the refill bottles, that is when this really becomes a value. Con. This sucker is slow compared to the previous printer I used. It was an HP office jet 68 something, I can't remember. Also, when printing half nak.., I mean color charts and pictures on plain paper, it looks washed out. I have not tried photo grade paper with it. Overall for my situation, this is a great printer. It may not be for you though based on the cons. Mamba out 24 RIP 8

Great mid-line high-capacity printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an under-warranty replacement for a G4020 that failed in two years. Before I realized the G4200 was still under warranty I purchased a G7020 elsewhere. The only meaningful differences between the two are the G7 is auto-duplex and has scanning auto-feed. Both come with huge ink reservoirs and identical extra ink. Adding ink is as simple as can be, yet the reservoirs are so large it will take many thousands of pages' printing to ever require refills. WiFi connections, paper feeding, and print and scanning quality of both printers is excellent. I tend to use the G7 more and did once have to do deep cleaning, which worked OK.
