You need a wire to connect the printer...if you use wi-fi with this printer..it is very unstable. it works 1/5 times...right now it's not even working.

I bought this to print from my iphone/iPad thinking it would be easy to do through wifi but you can only print if you are able send the files to the cannon app which a lot of the times I am unable to.wish it had a more user friendly set up.

I have had my share of printers that gave me issues! This is the first printer I have had that hasnt. Wireless hookup to multiple items simple. Ink change simple. Paper never gets caught. Love it!

this printer was supposed to be able to connect to more than one computer and it only connected to one computer. after we connected to the one computer it would not allow any other computer or lap top.

This printer is a get what you pay for printer, medium difficulty to set up, does whats expected, is extremely slow and does use alot of ink, however, again for the price it gets the job done.

I have many medical conditions and this was super handy to not have to pay so much to fax things through a Staples or Office Max. It helps in so many ways.

I bought this because I had a $20 gift card and two $5 certificates to blow. Was easy enough to set up if you know how wifi printers are generally setup in Win 8.1. Save yourself a headache and dont install the entire Canon software. Download the software, go through the setup process which will install the Canon 2900 series user registration. If it doesn't see your printer, click on next anyway. Then you get to the page to install software and drivers. Don't do it. Just go to "devices and printers" in control panel and you should see the Canon printer there. Printing on android was simple enough downloading the Canon print service app. Too bad you cant print in just black and white or draft mode in Android but I haven't seen many apps that do except Hammermill. I don't do Apple. Copying is as easy as pressing start. Scanning works well. My biggest gripe is that this unit doesn't have and auto document feeder. Believe me there will be times you will want it because who wants to stand there and feed documents one by one if you are scanning or copying multiple pages. But i guess you cant expect that for $25 . If you only print occasionally than I recommend it. You cant go wrong for the price. If you print often than I suggest spending another $20 and get one with an auto document feeder. I also dont care for the paper feeder. My Brother printer has the paper feeder inside the machine and looks much better. I'll use this until the ink runs out, Its about as cheap as the ink. But I'll probably go back to my Brother printer after that.

While Canon makes good printers this unit was fair. It clogged several times. The replacement ink is insanely price. I was not impressed.

Wireless printing - good from a PC. The Mobile app does work but a lot more effort, you need to select this printer as a wireless network under Setting, Wi-Fi (no internet until you change it back) and must use the Canon Printer app. Printing something that's not a real "document" that the app can manage it very difficult... Printing pictures works good from the app, Scanning documents works good from the app.

It hasn't printed one page since I bought it. Super confusing to set up. Instructions are for a range of printers. Super cheaply made. Would not recommend to anyone.

It does not connect wirelessly. I took it to the store as well but they were not able to find a solution and asked me to come later. Very bad printer

I purchased this Printer because it was on sale at best buy, it works well with Windows and OSX, however, it runs out of ink pretty quickly

Wow! Three thumbs up!!! Working fine. Just like most printers, it surely eats ink for every meal.

After setting it up the printed lasted a month maybe and now I keep getting error messages that I can't figure out.

The printer is not an air print supported product. We could not print wirelessly from our iPads. We returned the printer.

Will not work with my I phone I need to bring it back and get my money back

I was weary of purchasing a WiFi printer, but now I can honestly say that I love it.

Printer was defective and will be returned. I have used canon before and found them to be of good value.

It's a good printer, but only works with the cord, even though it claims it's wireless. I worked for hours to try to figure it out but it wouldn't work wirelessly. I even called tech support multiple times and they didn't know how to help. It's a good price, but if it needs to be wireless, I would invest in one that will actually work for that purpose.

my printer is a Hewlett- Packard and it operates as advertised.
