The Canon - Pixma TR8620 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax is a good all-around home / small business printer. Setup to either a PC or smartphone is quite straight-forward. The manual walks you through the initial setup of getting the ink cartridges installed, and the printer correctly aligned, then directs you to either the Canon website for PC setup or smartphone applications. QCodes in the manual make it easy to get to the mobile app links for either Android or iOS. The PC software was easy to install and get connected to the printer. The large touchscreen allows you to easily connect to the wifi network, or you can connect using a LAN cable or USB cable. Note there isn't a USB cable included with the printer if you choose to go that route. Overall, very easy to get the printer setup and going on either Windows 10 or smartphone. The printer has a frontload tray that holds 100 sheets, a top feeder for making scans and copies, and a back feeder. The top feeder is really handy for making copies and scans. No having to lift up the scan lid every page. The speed for making scans and copies is decent. About 10 seconds per single-sided page. The duplex option for making 2-sided copies requires you to manually take the page your copying / scanning and flip it and put it back in the top-load tray, so it's not a good solution if you're wanting to make multiple double-sided copies of a stack of pages. Having the option is nice, though when you want to copy a few pages. The front of the printer where the touchscreen is located flips up towards you, so it makes it really easy to work with the large touchscreen. You can Copy / FAX / Scan / Print from the touchscreen along with adjust many of the settings all from the touchscreen. It's a matte finish, so no screen-glare. It's fairly bright too. Touch is responsive. I find the printing speed to quite good for either color or black and white single-sided printing. Double-sided printing goes quite a bit slower, as it seems to take a while processing from side to side before moving ahead with the printing, along with having to pull the page back in and print the second side, but it's really nice having the option when you need it!! Just going to take a while longer. Print quality is good. Comparable to my HP printer in the same class. I haven't tried the photo papaer yet, so can't comment on that. Regular printer paper looks crisp and on par with other inkjet printers in this price range that I've used. The printer has lots of maintenance options from deep cleaning, head alignment, nozzle checks, ink level checks, roller cleaning to help with any issues that come along after using for a while. Build quality seems pretty good overall. On par with my HP inkjet in this price range. The trays are a little delicate feeling. I wouldn't want to put this in an area where it was going to get bumped or ran into much. Not sure how well they would handle that, but based on the thickness of the plastic I'm going to say it wouldn't be advised. I haven't had the opportunity to test the FAX as I do not have a landline, but the setup on the touchscreen looks pretty straight-forward, and the printer comes with a phone cable. Printing from the phone app was easy. The mobile apps let you do all sorts of cool things from grabbing a quick copy of something using your camera, creating calendars, disc labels, stickers, collages straight from your smartphone photo collection, or from social media sites like Facebook, or your cloud photo services like Google Photos, OneDrive, or Instagram. Lots and lots of options to keep you busy for hours upon hours if you so choose! Great for the creative type in your family. Overall, this is a nice inkjet printer for home or small-business use. Covers pretty much all the bases for these settings, and has decent speed and output. Fairly quiet when printing. Good value printer from Canon!

*The printer is very slow. *The color copies are average at best. *The fax is glitchy and feeds very slowly. I had inadvertently disconnected my fax cord. The printer kept advising me that the fax number that I was dialing was "busy", rather than telling me that my line wasn't connected. *The entire device is much more flimsy than the HP device that it replaced. I am sorry that I didn't waiting for the HP printer that I really wanted to be back in stock.
