Scanning is difficult, color printing is very easy. I'll have to go to Canon to get help for scanning!

This product is well-made. Not easy to set-up in comparison to HP. The WIFi Problematic. Pooling takes forever unless you us DIRECT Bluetooth Connection. Disappointed. My last 2 canon's were my most expensive photo printer purchases and my worst purchases. I was so fed up with it I just threw it away.

Totally worthless if on a modern Mac for Photo Printing. Offers no color adjustment options. Canon offer no native drivers for the printer, and Apple's basic driver is lacking. Colors are washed out and way too bright. Stay away if on MacOS and need to print pictures.

I like most features about this all-in-one printer. Starting with the compact design, it fits nicely on the corner of my desk without taking up too much workspace. The print quality is very good and the speed is descent. The noise level is about average and it handles double-sided printing without any help. The scanning function is also very good and produces clear scans. The same holds true for copying. It doesn’t have a picture showing which way to load from the document feeder, but I figured it out the first time. It scans with the front side up. The fax setup is simple and straight forward and works like it should. I was easily able to print from my iPhone and the quality was very good. I always appreciate when the device is easy to find from my mobile phone. Loading the ink cartridges was also simple and straightforward. The cartridges snapped into place easily and the compartment was easy to access. The calibration process wasn’t as straight forward and required placing a printout on the bed of the scanner. Finally, the lcd screen needs to be up in order to print. I wasn’t fond of this requirement. It would make sense to design it to print regardless of the position of the screen. Overall, this is a solid printer that will serve you well. Just be sure to lift the screen before trying to print.

Not good for front and back printing. Don't understand why the panel across the front had to be open when in use. Had to keep standing up to read the screen. Real thin plastic, was constantly worried it would break. However, I gave it one star because the ink was inexpensive. Returned it.

Can become a 4 or 5 star product if the wireless feature starts to work. Will only print 1 item, then message appears looking for printer. Have to turn off and on to complete print job.

This printer is probably the slowest Canon printer I have ever used. Scanning was even worse. It does look nice, so if you are buying purely for the aesthetics, it would be a nice display piece. I returned it and got A Canon Maxify MB-5120, which is a much better and faster device.

This printer is not like other Canon printers. The letter tray is very cheap and flimsy. It's a real issue adding paper since the plastic is so cheap!! The toners are also very pricy but they always are. Would have returned but needed it ASAP. We have always purchase Canon but time to revisit other printers. Do not recommend!

had to replace it in 6 mos.. due to service code thrown and then it wouldn't boot up when I unplugged and tried restarting. thank god for the 1 year warranty. But great easy swap experience. But now the new one is having issues getting on the network.

Truly disappointed with this printer. It's made with the cheapest and most flimsy materials I've ever seen. Be careful how you use this--it seems at any given time just pulling out the paper tray, replacing ink or lifting up the panel it could easily break. Not Worth The Money

Average printer! I expected it to be better because I needed a canon pixma printer for my Cricut/t shirt business and to be honest I would get a different printer! I still have it but that's because this was the second printer I purchased and I did not want to go through the hassle of bringing it back.

The printer is simply amazing by all means. It’s easy to set up, Design is extremely user-friendly with the touch screen, Software is up to par, had No issues with any of the features. Overall the Canon’s Pixma is one of the best printers you can buy and the best printer I own to date. If you want the short version of this review; You get all the modern features without any sacrifices on this printer for the price. It’s well worth it if you are shopping for an all in one. The downside here is that you need five Individual ink cartridges. The design is more in line with something very modern. It’s black with rounded corners but isn’t too bulky Compared to some of the other print as I had. The touchscreen is nice giving you all the use of options from here; this is where you can set up Wi-Fi, settings along with doing things like Faxing, printing, scanning, and copy your papers. Wifi is simple to set up with the printer. A quick start guide could help you out with other options. I like the fact that they added in a Ethernet port for when my Wifi isn’t strong. The good news here; 5GHz Wifi is apart of this printer which for me is a celebration. I know this is a feature on many printers but I am pleased to tell you that Apple AirPrint works flawlessly. You can print photos or other documents from your phone and tablet. A feature that is a must these days for printers. Creators Park is another feature where you can print out calendars, coloring books, word puzzles, and such for doing activities. It’s nice but I found it completely unnecessary. Just because there are many sites online that offer the same thing. My personal take is Canon should have spent the R&D money elsewhere. There is an SD card slot which is just great and another thing that seems to be fading on printers but it’s here. Had no issues viewing content through the touch screen at all. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant do work on the Pixma. Tons of Canon’s Apps also work fine on the printer so there aren’t many compatibility issues. The touchscreen is perhaps the perfect thing for thin for this printer as most of the features can be accessed here. Pixma also prints and copies extremely speedy so you don’t have to wait for your prints to come out. The ADF is awesome feeling up to 20 pages. With that said there isn’t much of a downside to the Pixma TR8620. I think the Ink cartridges and the price may put people off; it’s 2020 and there has to be a better way to condense this. With that said I personally see myself using Canon’s Pixma for a long time.
