I was VERY disappointed with this product. After I opened it and went through the hour and 1/2 long set up it DID NOT WORK. I followed all instructions but it would not connect to my new AND UP TO DATE systems. This was my first AND LAST time purchasing a cannon product. I am retuning it and going back to HP. I should have never switched.

When it works it prints fine. However the printer constantly loses its wireless connection to the PC through. You end up having to reinstall the HP software every time you need to print something new. I ordered a cable in order to have a hard connection and hope that fixes the issue. Otherwise this is the worst printer I've ever owned.

Good price for what it does - description is accurate. I was annoyed at first because I had to physicall wake the printer by touching it or pushing the power button every time I wanted to use it, but I found power saver settings where you could set it to automatically wake up if a device is trying to access it. :) No paper jams so far, printed fine from the back tray when I put cardstock in it. Pretty customizable if you take the time to do so.

Miserable, cant copy, machine states no paper and the printer has abundant paper loaded. Contacted Co. and they insist that I have a jam. Brand new never used and I have a jam? The machine was set up by a geek squad member and it is useless

Should have returned it the first week. I mistakenly thought issues were all user- related. Nope- just a pitiful cheap junk. Now four months in it basically is useless- unless half sheet printing is what you like. Waste of money.

Handles all necessary office & stationary jobs

The Canon - Pixma TR8620 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - Black is versatile enough to handle all office and stationary jobs that regularly pop up. The first thing that I noticed was that I could not connect to 5G and could only see 2.4G on the printer screen drop down list to connect to the internet. Installation was easy with logging onto the Cannon website and following simple instructions. I was able to print double sided documents automatically without manually pulling out the paper tray and rearranging the paper. Copies came out looking as good as the originals. Scanning from my computer went smoothly by using the Cannon U Scan Utility, without attaching any USB cord. Scanning directly from the printer did not work. I kept receiving the error message “Set the PC to start scanning.” I could not find help on what to do. I installed the Cannon PRINT SELPHY app on my phone. I was able to print quality photos from my phone onto glossy photo paper, making my own professional looking photos. The Smartphone Copy function works by actually printing a copy of my phones camera view. I could not get the phone scanning function to work. The Canon - Pixma TR8620 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax - Black is a professional printer that is not user friendly. You need to know how to go into the settings and make adjustments to achieve the complete functionality of the printer.

    Nice all-in-one printer

I really like the Canon - Pixma TR8620 all-in-one printer. As with most printers on the market, the setup is really straightforward for wireless connectivity. I haven't used a wire printer connection in a LONG time, but if that is what floats your boat, be prepared to spend a bit more money on the cable. The box that the printer came in looked huge when I first saw it, but the actual printer itself was not so bad for an all-in-one printer. The LCD touchscreen is nice and bright, as well as big enough to allow my fat fingers to press what I want. As for the print quality, you really can't go wrong with a Canon printer. Usually, all-in-one printers are not great for pictures, but the Canon - Pixma TR8620 prints out some really nice looking pictures. This might also be a reason as to why the print speeds are a bit on the slow side, but I don't mind if the image quality is good. There is even an SD slot to print directly from your memory card. My only complaints, and the reason for the three stars is that Canon really has to do away with the ink cartridges. The things are expensive to replace. Having actual ink tank systems, like most other printer manufacturers have, would make the machine so much better, and would cut on print cost. My Epson printer has an ink tank system, and the ink lasts a VERY LONG time. The second issue is the page capacity of the Canon - Pixma TR8620. The tray capacity on this printer is 100 pages. Come on now, a home officer printer should have a much higher paper capacity tray. The last thing I want is to have to continuously have to load paper in my printer. Overall, the print quality is great, connectivity has been good so far, and the size of the machine is not bad.

Opened the box, followed the directions, printed one picture. One week later, tried to print again and it wouldn’t print. My wife brought the printer back to the store for assistance from the Geek Squad. They told my wife that they couldn’t help because we do t have the tech program.

This printer is very easy to setup and get running. I was completely finished in 10 min from unpacking to setup. The color touch screen walks you through setup with videos showing you exactly how to load the cartridges. Pretty cool. This printer also has a full-sized SD slot and supports Bluetooth connections from your device of choice. The build quality is on par with other manufacturers - flimsy plastic that gets the job done - seems to be the going design choice in the industry. It works and it's sturdy enough. The prints so far are terrific and are exactly what you'd expect from Canon!

Downloading 2-sided text is horribly slow. ATF almost impossible to use for multiple copies. Will get rid of it soon for a better functioning copy machine. Scan and Fax work fine. Too bad copying is so bad because that is what I use most.

With my kids learning from home I was in need of an all in one solution that would let me scan items back to their schools and print pages for their assignments. Enter the Canon Pixma TR8620. This is really the perfect size for our home and needs. Open the box, plug it in, and connect to your home wifi. If you want to connect VIA USB or ETHERNET you can but those cable are not included. We mostly print from tablets, phones and chromebooks, but we do have one windows laptop also and we were able to download the application to run on the windows laptop so we could scan to the device directly. There is also an iOS and Android app for your mobile device you can download too. We do not print a lot at one time so the paper tray is sufficient for us. It holds about 100 pieces of paper. This printer feels sturdy and well made when you hold it. Cannon does a nice job of putting this together. Print quality is very good and you get duplex mode if needed (a bonus for us for sure). The touch screen was good size and responsive so that was nice too. This unit uses 5 ink cartridges (2 are black), This unit also has several scan to Cloud options (like dropbox) which saves me time from scanning to another computer and then emailing a copy where I want it to go. This unit can be a little loud when printing.
