Very challenging to even set up ! I have a relatively new HP computer which could not sync with printer. Perhaps related to my " Bundle* setup? Just FYI for review. Thanks for asking.

Like so many, I've had a number of printers along the way. I LOVE this Canon - Pixma TR8620 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Fax. For me, it does everything I want to do, and the SMALL FOOTPRINT is something I really appreciate. The top of one's desk/workspace is, in most cases, limited real estate, and the small footprint is a blessing. This is, as advertised, an all-in-one printer. I will say that I am NOT a small office, this printer is for my personal use only ... and the performance is flawless for my needs. The scanner is excellent, as is the printing capability. Out of the box, the SETUP is straight on, instructions are very clear (via wifi or cable). I don't really know how to expand on PERFECT ... and the PRICE is right, too! I truly recommend this printer.

This printer lasted all of about 100 prints before it started printing awful prints. I replaced ink, same problem. Just was not worth the time and money.

This printer was very easy to set up. The display is nice and guides you through set up step by step even letting you know once you have the ink installed. I don't really like the way you have to flip the display up every time you use the unit. I thought it would be flush with the unit at all times. I like that it does duplex printing since some printers don't. Overall I really like this unit.

Great All in One for Work from Home

So many of us are working from home most of the time if not every day due to changes brought on by the Pandemic. What you use in your home office for tools is more and more critical to being able to do your job. I was looking for a good all in one Printer / Fax / Copier / Scanner and the Canon TR 8620 has all those attributes in one neat package. One gripe I do have of late is some electronics just feel so light and flimsy the TR 8620 has a bit of heft to it so its not the worst I’ve seen in that regard but the trays etc do feel a bit flimsy and easy to break. Set up is easy and you are taken step by step through the process including easy access via settings for WiFi setup. You can print with AirPrint, Wifi printing and even from SD cards (but not USB) Print quality is great (but a bit slow) in both black and color and the scanner with auto document feeder renders whatever you are scanning accurately and easily. Photos seem to take forever to print at just about a minute on average in my experience (but the photos look great). I must admit I rarely use fax anymore but wanted to have one in those rare times I will need one, so while I did hook it up I haven’t used it as of yet but assume it will work just fine. Overall the TR 8620 does all I need it to in one package.

Horrible. It is completely misleading. Great price, but the ADF is not fully automatic, you have to manually flip the paper. What use is it to?

The unit is very flimsy and out of the three that I had, none lasted more than 4 days before popping up with an error that required replacement.

What is in the box Printer Power cord Telephone cord Quick Start manual Safety Sheet Limited warranty 5 ink cartridges Setup was easy following the getting started manual and then the large liquid crystal display. In just a few minutes the printer was set and ready to print. Setting up the printer on the computer was a little difficult, you must go to a web site and download the install program. The program could not locate the printer and I had to go to the printer and install the internet manually. After that the installation went off with out a hitch. The print quality is good as canon usually is. Had a problem printing pictures, but that was operator error. If you look on the last page of the Getting Started Manual, it states photo paper must be installed in the rear slot only. 4 of 5 stars I gave this printer 4 stars because of the limited paper tray quantity and the cumbersome install process. I would recommend this Canon TR8620 to family and friends.

To be honest I did not need another printer, but I really needed a scanner. This falls in line with a mid range printer. The setup was super tedious. Wife would not setup at all and Bluetooth setup was not easy. The Bluetooth is not self explanatory. The Bluetooth button is on the display not a physical button. When you install the ink they are already half empty. Not a super fast printer to start but a decent speed once it pulls the print job out of the que. I love printing from my phone.it’s nice there is a place for the printed pages to go. There is a scanner but you can’t scan and print you have to save to a local computer (it’s on WiFi so no local computer) or save to memory card. Who has these? Why not a flash drive? If you need a decent multifunction printer (maybe find it on sale) take a look here
