We picked this up because of the need to print more and more color items at home for various school projects as well as a need to copy/scan occasionally. Out the box it took about 20 mins to remove the tape and get it setup, install ink cartridges, and get plugged in to complete the setup via my phone. One key feature we liked was the individual ink cartridges so you can selectively replace specific colors if you use more than others. We haven't had a need to print photos but based on the print quality we saw on regular paper I would expect the will come out pretty nice as well. Overall we have been happy with this printer. It was pretty easy to setup and be printing to it in less than 30 mins. It also has a very clean look to it and also has the ability to print right onto DVD's or CD's if you have that need.

Having purchased several different brand printers, I found that the Canon - PIXMA TS8320 does an incredible job with printing pictures. Be sure to use the appropriate photo paper to get the best results. The setup is pretty straight forward, as is with most other printers. I have heard about people having some difficulty with setting their Canon - PIXMA TS8320 printers up, but this is nothing compared to my previous HP printer that had to be setup via an app. One of the most useful features on the Canon - PIXMA TS8320 is the large LCD touch display. I prefer it over app controlled printers, as it is easier and more convenient to maneuver. There is an app for this printer, which does make printing certain documents and photos much easier, but it's a preference decision that has to be made. I just don't like having all of those extra apps taking up space in my phone. A big drawback for me, and I feel this needs to be addressed immediately, is the ink cartridge system. It has SIX! Which means more money for ink. It's time to get with the times and go with tanks over cartridges. The Canon - PIXMA TS8320 does sport an elegant design, has an SD card slot to print directly from, and has a voice control feature that allows you to connect to Google or Alexa. I've always wondered how that works, and I find that it is useful when checking ink levels on the fly. Overall, the print quality is great, the setup is a breeze, and I'm happy with the results. I just wish that Canon would switch to ink tanks instead of cartridges for this. It would make it a much more cost efficient printer.

    Great CD/DVD Printer

I purchased my Canon PIXMA TS8320 about a week ago. I found it very easy to set up if you follow the instructions and I do not find it flimsy at all. Top is the way a scanner top is supposed to be so something thick can be scanned. I took a little learning, Maybe a little more then my PIXMA MX922 it replaced. I did not purchased another MX922 because of it only having a two star rating. The TS8320 seems to print more accurate and beautiful colors on my DVD/CD's. I do a lot of that type printing and am very pleased with the TS8320. My wife has an earlier version the TS8120 and has been using it for years now trouble free. I would definitely recommend this printer to a friend.

I was looking for three specific things when I bought a printer decent ratings, ability to work with Apple products, and easy set up for 5GHZ Wi-Fi. I just set up this printer using my iPad and it went very quickly, with the easy instructions, and I am now able to print from my iPad with these. I still need to set up my computer but I’m not anticipating issues. However if I have them I will come back and correct this. The one thing I don’t know if I’m going to like but we will find out is all of those cartridges and how long they last.

I have had this printer for nearly a year, and have had other Canon printers. This is the best so far. Never jams, small and relatively quick. A few disadvantages: as with all printers, the cost of cartridges' is expensive, but Canon makes it easy to order, although their price is higher than one could find on the web. However, you will get it in two days if ordered from Canon. Another issue is that if you receive a message that the paper needs to be removed and you need to reset, the instructions for this are wrong! l You need to remove the paper and pull out the tray that captures the printed material for the printer to reset. I have told Canon about this, but to no avail. Also, it is almost impossible to reach Canon support at this time. Otherwise, I would buy this again.

I am very pleased with my Canon PIXMA TS8320 Printer. Took about two hours to fully learn all of it's functions and I am very pleased with all it's printing task, especially the CD/DVD Printing function. I highly recommend this printer.

Ink Cartridges suck. In the last two weeks I put in two new sets, and I can't get the blue ink to print unless I run a test page each session. As far as the rest of the printer, it does jam every once in a while, considering how often I use it... which is rare, I'm shocked that its doing that at all.

Cheap build quality and AWFUL software

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The build quality feels cheap, lot of pieces feel ready to break. The front looks great for about 5 seconds then everything is smudged and fingerprints constantly. The software is abysmal, plenty of other people have complained about it and I figured I could get through it. I have already been through customer service multiple times but unfortunately the support team has a difficult time understand and speaking English so that didn't produce any solutions. If the print quality or scan quality was outstanding then maybe it could make up for the other blemishes but they don't. Scanning (if you can get it to work from the control panel, probably not though) is alright but I've seen better jobs done by older printer. I've gone through the settings and it still doesn't do a great job. Overall this printer will be getting returned, for the money it's just not worth the hassle and expensive ink replacement costs.

    Total junk

One of the worst products I've ever owned. Tears through ink, and gives me nothing but problems. I bet it prints properly 1 out of 8 times. B&W printing skips and misses so much it looks like a barcode. I'm an I.T. pro and know how to fix this kind of thing. The only way to fix this is with a sledgehammer.

    RIP OFF

This is by far the WORST printer I have ever owned, and I've had many. The ink is very expensive and it goes through it instantly, THEN refuses to print in B/W until you buy their overpriced ink. This is absolutely the LAST Canon printer I will ver purchase

Printer stinks!!! I have had Canon printers forever and this TS8320 is terrible. Printing checks single check out of 3 always tilts. Also after printing, the upper door has to be manually closed. Yes you can auto close the lower door but this setting frequently gets corrupted.
