Q: does this print on dvds that have labels?
A: YES it does print on blank PRINTABLE DVDs. This is the only reason I purchased this item. You can also print your own paper labels, which I have not done. It does a fabulous job printing on blank PRINTABLE DVDs ! I recommend the 50 pack Verbatim DVD-R blank PRINTABLE discs #97167 that print all way to the center hole. Don't buy the 100 pack Verbatim DVD-R blank PRINTABLE #95153 discs, because you cannot print all way to the center hole. Check the picture on the label ! ALSO ---DO NOT buy the Verbatim LIFE SERIES regular blank DVDs. I had many problems using these discs ! My DVD burner starts to burn for about 5 minutes or less, then shuts off and an "ERROR" message appears on the screen and the disc is ruined.
