connect better with my cell phone than may Apple lap top

It might actually be a decent printer but unfortunately it didn't work for me. As soon as I plugged it in and turned it on an error code 5011 showed up and that was that. I exchanged it for a cheaper model so keeping my fingers crossed I don't have the same issue.

seems like a nice item but has paper load issues..

One year after purchase, the printer started to print pink even if I selected black or gray scale. The sales person at Best Buy informed me that this could not be fixed and the most economic solution was to purchase a new printer. I had recently purchased a new set of ink cartridges. These are expensive and were another sunk cost that I cannot get back. The printer prompts purchase of new ink cartridges when they are still about 25% full and continues this prompt every time you print until they are replaced. This is quite annoying. I will never again by a Cannon Printer.

I have had this a little over a year and it losses connection to the bluetooth constantly and now it shows it has a paper jam but there is no jam.

Printed OK. Hard to learn/understand features. Didn't work like expected. After fighting with it for a year I threw it out and bought a good printer.

Soooo many reviews about this printer, but I don't think it was worth the money. Seems to complicated for something I just wanted to print some photos and documents with.

I read a lot of good things about this printer. However, paper drawer error Messages prevented me from setting up this machine. It was so frustrating that I took this printer back

I liked the size and specs for this printer so I decided to purchase. Turned it on for the first time during set up and it said "paper jam" even though I have yet to put paper in it. Could never figure out how to clear this error message. Also the bottom feed paper tray has a plastic guide that was hyper extended making it hard to push the tray in. I packed it up and took it back to Best Buy. I used the credit to buy more ink cartridges for my existing HP printer. It may be a good printer but the one I bought had issues.

Been nothing but problems wish would have just purchased a better quality printer.

i guess its an ok printer the mechanish that slides the tray out has already broken and the scanner is super slow

Don't buy it, paper tray bad, bad wifi connection.

I used this printer for less than a month and it stopped printing.

Returned first one because we had a problem trying to get the paper to load. Got the same printer again and experienced the same issue. I've set up over a dozen printers and never had such a difficult time. Ended up getting Epson which was simple.

Not happy at all with this printer. I had a Canon before and loved it - easy to use, did everything I wanted. Had it for several years. This one, already does not work and will have to have attention. Not user friendly - have to set everything just so - no such thing as copy and go!

Although your ad said it would print from a iMac, it did not support my operating system. My husband has a PC, so he is using it, however it took probably 4 phone calls to the help desk, to get it up and running for his PC. As of now, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

Spend more and get the bigger Cannon This one is a toy

Switches between on-line and off-line several times a day. Usually responds to a print request with "printer off-line", then prints documents several hours later (or next day). A useless printer about to be replaced with a non-Canon product.
