Easier to have my phone out than fumble with this while traveling. Camera slow to open when trying to catch a shot

I used to love Canon, but I was not impressed with low light photos on this one. I ended up getting a Sony RX100. WAY more money, but WAY better photos.

Low sound nice pics looks good outdoors. And I add light in house

Not what I thought it would be. i purchased it for vlogging thinking for the price i paid i would have clear pictures and video and i was wrong. my phone has been more successful.

I purchased this camera after my SX730 HS was broken. I was very happy with the SX730, but am very disappointed with the 4K video image quality. The 4K video is huge in size, grainy and somewhat blurry. It's very disappointing. I would not buy this camera again.

The wifi function on this camera is TERRIBLE. Ill be taking it in for the 2nd time for the same issue. Best Buy says it is not returnable after only 2 weeks short of 2 months. Even after the Geek Squad had trouble connecting it to wifi shortly after purchasing it. Also, the manual does not cover everything. This will be my final purchase from Best Buy. Back to Amazon for me. At least I know Amazon would have my back on a lemon.

Not a good camera my iPhone camera is better. Don’t get it.

I have bought multiple Canon cameras - both high end and point-and-shoot - and had high expectations for this camera. However, turned out to be very disappointing. The colors were muted and not sharp. The autofocus was not very accurate, with still shots frequently blurry. The camera has a lot of features, but without the basic right, these are not very valuable.

This camera is ok...spend a few more dollars and get a better digital camera.

Received camera timely, but the lens cover was broken so missed out on taking pics of my niece's last musical. Also bought for a trip, thank goodness I still had time to get a different camera. As I took this back, I was told it isn't made anymore, so why was Best Buy selling it?????? I had bought a camera bag for it, now have to return it and order a new one for the new cameral. NOT a satisfied customer!

This might be the world's greatest camera. I have been buying high-zoom point-and-shoot cameras going back to when they used film. This one can take sharp pictures of an eagle in flight. (My hand is steady, and I use the anti-shake feature.) Unlike my prior camera, it doesn't suck in dust when you expand the zoom. With the flip-up display in the back, I can take great selfies. While it's not the best camera for shooting the dark, I got reasonably good shots in rooms where I could barely see. Like many high-end digital cameras. there are more special features than I've found necessary. I do occasionally up the resolution, but I never mess with the color balance. I took a few movies (which came out well) but I never watch them. The one weak spot is that the wireless transmission of the photos doesn't always work. In those cases, I use an ordinary USB cable, and the transmission is pretty quick. I bought a 64 GB card so I never have to worry about running out of storage. The best feature is that it is small and light enough that I can carry it in my pants pocket, so it goes everywhere with me. After all, even the world's greatest camera is of no use if it's sitting in your desk drawer.

I was dissapointed with this camera, its horrible in low lighting, there are some major flaws to this camera, think twice..

Already returned camera, To bulky and heavy, Also lens on camera was to narrow and was horrible in low light area's. Not a good overall camera being in real estate and interior photos of rooms

This is a good camera. But they send a open box for a new product price. It wasn’t have a seal and it messed parts

I like the Canon brand and have always owned a Canon over the past 40+ years. However, I am disappointed in the amount of light reflections that appear in my photos. None of my over cameras do this. I was going to return it but didn’t want to pay the restocking fee that Best Buy charges. So kinda stuck with it. Would not recommend this camera.

I really like the selfie screen that allows you to see yourself. However it does make you look like you’re looking over the camera.

The camera worked great for awhile then terrible quality on the zoom long range lens photos blurry even the video is blurry not the best camera for cold weather lol too bad i really like this camera at first now i have to upgrade after 8 months bought it in April it's December started acting up this summer! For a beigner it is fine i did recommend it to a friend hers works good!

Error message shortly after we started using it, can't take photos and (because it was a gift, we kept it in the box for a while before opening it) we missed the return window by two days, now we had to mail it back to Canon at our own expense.

Gave to my teenage daughter so she can make videos. Great how you can see yourself during filming.
