I purchased this as a gift for my sister and she absolutely loves it! She uses it to make vlogs all the time. The videos come out very clear.

This is the first camera I’ve ever bought. It is great for taking photos and videos and is great for the price. I wish it zoomed in and out easier but it works well and is worth the price Tag. I enjoy using it and will continue to use it.

ive been using it to all my travels, i love it, you can zoom Its also good for concerts specially if you are nit close because you just zoom and super clear

We needed to replace our old Canon aim and shoot camera. LOVE our new Canon. Purchased it just prior to our trip to Prague followed by a river cruise of the Danube. Photos were terrific...great speed and resolution. Highly recommend it.

This is a great little camera bought it to carry with us to theme parks and some concerts and takes pretty good pictures the zoom is incredible for portable camera

Canon SX740 was an easy choice... Have previously owned other models ~ A720 IS and SX730. No need to shop around for any other brand. Easy to use, great functions with top notch clarity and vivid color.

It is a great camera for a beginner, Just wanting to do simple recordings or take pictures it’s awesome and the phone app is definitely a bonus with this one.

Cannon Powershot SX740 is a great camera for my University Architecture Courses. Pictures are truly professional looking and realistic a great camera for the price.

I did a lot of research on cameras before buying this one. I'd consider it a step down from a professional but the quality pictures it takes you would think it was a professional camera. Great camera & would highly recommend.

Great Camera for everyday use. Looks even better on tv. My son uses for YouTube. The video quality when we play on the tv is great!!

The zoom works great although I don't need 40x. Wish Canon had put more thought and dedicated more internal camera space to the clarity of photos. Even without the zoom, the photos are almost comparable to my Samsung S10+. I love the clarity and quality of photos of the G7x but it lacks zoom (only 4x!; I need 10x) and the fragility of the G7x led me to purchase the SX740. Yes, it takes more knowledge to use than a simple point-and-shoot, but that doesn't bother me. I want options. I've seen complaints about the lens sticking on this model. I keep mine in a ziploc baggie to keep out dust and dirt. It's a pain but so far, so good. I would recommend this camera because it's the only item at this pricepoint, but with caveats.

I purchased this camera to take on safari to South Africa. I am so impressed not only by the pictures and video it took, but also how great the zoom was! So very pleased that I purchased this camera for the trip!

We bought our camera to take on our first cruise. We love it, it is a perfect size and takes great pictures. the only draw back is the instruction manual is very vague!! I am sure we will love it more when we figure it all out!

Great little camera that performs very well. Low light performance was so so. For the pre ice this is a good deal.

Great camera with 4k video & 40x Optical Zoom. I bought it as an Open Box item, so it didn't have a Charger or Battery. Bought accessories on Amazon.

The camera works great. I have had the camera for about one and half month and the battery is still fully charged. The camera feels great on my hands when using it. Incredible resolution on my pictures.

This a great camera for the price. I bought a Sony cybershot for $1200 and return it for the Canon. It does the same quality HD pictures and video. I'm very satisfied with this camera.
