Canon - PowerShot SX740 HS 20.3-Megapixel Digital Camera - Black One of the best 40X zooms I ever seen on a small camera I really love using it

Lightweight, compact, easy to use, takes stills and moving pictures with sound. We just love it.

Was looking for something different for a birthday gift. I settled on the Canon-PowerShot SX740. Camera phones are ok but this camera has a much better zoom and the pictures are excellent.

Bought this as a gift for an older relative who is challenged by mobile phone cameras. It is easy to use, and easy to connect to a computer to upload the photos. Note that it does NOT come with an SD card - be sure you purchase one with the camera. It also does not come with a case. But, quality photos, just point and clock. For technically challenged folks, this is a good camera.

Bought this Canon to replace an older model. Very pleased with picture quality and zoom capability. Even without a tripod I can get decent pictures with the zoom all the way out. Still getting familiar with all the features, but it’s a keeper.

Very nice camera. Compacted, light great telephoto and easy to use. App for phone and Windows make very easy photo transfers. Phone app also lets you remote control the camera.

Great camera, love how affordable it is and the payment plans. Its nice that the screen can be flipped and its not super big. Came with everything mentioned.

If you understand the limits of this camera, then you can really begin to appreciate its greatness. If you know how to shoot in manual mode, you can do a lot. Only drawback is it lacks RAW and a viewfinder.

A great camera that takes fantastic pictures. I have taken it on two trips and haven't been disappointed by the quality of the pics.

It exceeded all my expectations and has replaced my big camera. I take it everywhere. The zoom is incredible says 40x but zooms up to 160x. I can see the craters on the moon from my full moon picture.

Great camera to pick up and shoot. Very compact and quality is good for it's size and casual shooting. You lose quality when Bluetooth transfer but that's to be expected.

Great zoom capability but incredibly slow. Bought this to take pictures of a graduation and the lag time caused me to miss important shots. If you’re looking for a landscape camera for travel where things don’t change and you can wait for the camera to catch up to itself it’s a great buy, but for real life moving objects/people, I found it to be too slow to be effective and was disappointed. I returned it and bought the Sony rx100 vii and sacrificed the long telephoto lens but got the quick fps high quality pics I was looking for.

This camera is great for beginners! I bought this camera at the beginning of my YouTube career and it has done me great and also has been used to capture family moments. I would most definitely recommend!

I use this camera daily and found it to be a great travel camera. However, lens seems to be not too fast so I will need a pro camera for serious shots and video.
