The camera was a gift so don't know if they tried yet...BUT BestBuy was the only one that had it in stock! So YAY

Cell phone cameras are great, but they do not have the ability to zoom in optically and just do not have all the bells and whistles that a real camera has.
I normally go with Canon because of the image stabilization capability. This is great for sporting events or concerts as well as sightseeing without having to lug around a big camera.

Great small and easy to use camera. Good price but the extra Shutterfly gift is a joke. It is pretty much worthless. Best Buy shouldn’t even advertise this as a legitimate gift.

Okay for point and shoot amateur photography hobby. But it is not good at all for serious or even semi professional photography, because the sensor size is just way too small which also leads to poor low light performance.

My son does freelance photography on the side and when his old one died right before Xmas we got him the same, just updated version of his old one. He cried when he opened it, so yeah, he loves it! Lol It’s very sleek and classic.

Canon was okay for optical zoom but when going into the digital zoom the subjects in pictures had a lot of edge pixelation. I returned this camera and purchased a Nikon A1000. The Nikon has excellent zoom and no pixelation... this Nikon is best little camera I’ve found.

So easy to use out of the box. The 40x optical zoom is great. Set on photo mode & enjoy until you want to experiment.

Best Buy marketplace model is poor

While I received this order promptly, I had NO IDEA that this camera came from a marketplace provider. There was no packing slip. The box used Amazon labeling. I returned it because the price was significantly more than other retailers. When I went to return it, Best Buy customer service was terrible but finally took the return. Shame on Best Buy for their poor online purchasing and lack of transparency that it’s a third party purchase.

Was looking for a smaller camera to take with us to Disney rather than dragging along a DSLR, found a decent sale and went with it! So far it’s great and we leave Thursday so I’m sure it’ll be fine.

The Canon Powershot is very good. The settings are a little complicated for adjusting when I want to take quick close ups.
This is not the fault of the camera, I am still learning and my eye sight is not as good as when I had my old Powershot Canon.
