a perfect companion for my Canon RP, I just tried it out at the bowling alley and was very pleased with the resulting combination. The photos were cropped. The last one is the original size f the first before cropping.

Not our best lens, technically speaking, but by far our favorite. We shoot a lot of portraits. Love the bokeh, and the focal length lends to flattering facial features. It's our go to for portraits.

I own the EF 75-300 lens and wanted to see what all the hooplah was about this RF 70-200. After I opened the box I immediately knew this would blow the EF out of the water. It sacrificed some range on the long end but the sharp pics and the autofocus is out of this world. Not to mention the build quality and the sleek look of the gray/off white color. It just feels like a high end lens. You can use it for essentially anything and everything. I was reluctant to go with the f/4 over the f/2.8 version but the ISO in the R6 has come so far that I don't mind creeping into the 6400 range if need be to lighten up the exposure. I haven't used the 2.8 so I can't knock it but for the difference in price and me being a casual shooter, I have zero regrets. I also have an additional chunk of change from going the f/4 route that I can now put towards another RF lens so I am incredibly happy with this lens.

The Canon RF 70-200mm lens is a stellar piece of glass, delivering exceptional image quality with sharpness and clarity. Its compact design makes it versatile for various shooting situations, and the fast autofocus ensures you never miss a moment. The image stabilization is top-notch, allowing for steady shots even at longer focal lengths. While it comes at a premium price, the performance justifies the investment for serious photographers.

Fantastic lens. Perfect for traveling. Lighter and compact compared to the 2.8 variant. Not much of a difference in F stop with identical photos. Great travel lens. Used in temps from 105* to ~ +\- 0*. Holds up great. Very very sharp.

Fantastic lens with great sharpness, This is and F4 and so I think slightly pricy for that but if you are looking at this lens then you know that. Does as advertised and is nice and light and fits in run around camera bag. So yes I love it as I carry more than I did my 2.8 but I think it's a$1,000 lens

This lenses is extremely compact and light for a 70- 200. Fast focusing and sharp. I absolutely love it its a little pricey and could have went with the old EF model but really wanted to stay with the native RF mount.

I am a Professional Photographer Full time over the last 18 years. Have used Canon since 1982. We own the 70-200 2.8 IS L MKII to compare this to. This lens was purchased to have a lighter-weight alternative, and boy does it deliver. Paired with an Eos R it is so light. The F4 is not a problem for low light as the IS is fantastic. When paired with our Eos R5 it is incredible how low one can get the shutter to be and still get sharp images. Highly recommend for travelers and hikers.
