You do have to have it plugged in to print with it. I wanted to take it on the go - so I bought a 2 battery pack on Amazon and now I can print wherever and whenever.

We used this at a fundraising gala where attendees received a photo signed by the celebrity guest. Pic was taken and printed, then signed during the event. Wonderful and all were happy with the result.

I think it’s nice that the refills include paper and pigment together, exactly enough for the paper supply. We’ve always had good luck with the Canon brand. My only complaint is that periodically one of the wheels inside the printer leaves a mark/removes to color from the paper. So you end up with a trail of white dots across the photo. It’s still relatively new and I hope that doesn’t increase in frequency over time.
