Not thrilled with this product I'm buying a similar case to compare smh

Used it extensively for a week in the ocean. I bought this case to protect my case from salt water and sand. I was under the impression that no part of the watch to get in touch with the water or sand. I was disappointed when I finally removed the case after the usage - Even though I had installed it perfectly as described, I noticed some moisture inside the case and there was some sticky white stuff on the back around the HR sensor which was in the silicon case which I think was the salt water which got inside. My watch was not damaged but it was just really sticky and I had to clean it. I was expecting 100pc waterproofing given the expensive price for a case but I was disappointed.

This case is simple and works very well. Even though the Series 2 is waterproof as is, knowing that this case will give extra protection from the other elements is a plus. The band is very comfortable to wear and is very durable. The plus side is that you can change the band with other watch bands if you like. (not the apple ones). The case is very secure and the screw that keeps it closed is very helpful. Charging the watch is very easy and has no issues. Nothing bad to say about this case. recommended.

I bought this case in May of this year (2018). I bought it because of its sturdy and rugged look and it gave the iWatch a bit of a chunkier look, which I like. I got a lot of compliments and questions on it, which was also very cool. But about a month or two ago, I noticed a small crack on the back of it. That was weird to see as this item has never fallen to the ground, been hit or anything. I mean, how can that even happen? It is a watch case. Anyway, somehow, the crack got worse and it actually fully broke in half on me this morning, October of 2018. The crack seems to have originated from the screw area on the back of the case and just spread. For the amount of money this is being sold for, I NEVER would have expected something like this to happen. Thank God that the actual iWatch cube never fell out of the cracked case. THAT would have been INSANE. But yeah, I would not recommend this to anyone, even though it looks so cool.

I got this case because I work in a harsh environment and I wanted to protect my Apple Watch. Build quality is fantastic but my watch won’t charge when it’s in the case. What’s the point in having a protective case of you can’t even use the watch?

Took longer than expected to be delivered but worth the wait. Easy to install and looks great. Can't wait to use this when I take the kids to the beach.

I am very disappointed with the catalyst case for Apple Watch series 3 in stealth black. It does not fit on the charger well at all. When it does go on, it loses contact with the charger within minutes. Resulting in a dead watch by morning when I am getting ready to leave. I tried to take it back to Best Buy, but they would not take it back without charging a restocking fee of 35%. So here sits a $70 piece of plastic that can’t be used. inwould not recommend this product to anyone.

I have purchased this item twice and shame on me. The first was replaced under warranty because it broke and would not stay together. After the replacement broke I decided that I would give it one more shot and purchased another since I was “out of warranty” from my original date of purchase. The second one I bought was broken when I got to the car so I immediately returned it. The replacement lasted 4 months and was replaced under warranty again. This last one lasted 9 months. Just long enough to put me out of warranty from my original date of purchase again. In total I have owned 5 of these cases and only had an Apple Watch for about 3+ years. Exactly 0 of them have lived through their 12 month warranty. My chances of purchasing a catalyst product even with the 30% discount they’ve offered me instead of standing behind their product are ZERO. You’ll be better off buying a cheap knockoff of these (since they are the most expensive I’ve seen) and just hoping to get your moneys worth there. I guarantee you you will not get your money’s worth here.

This is great for protecting my watch. Isn’t too big or bulky.

Purchased this item along with a new Apple 3 watch thinking I needed more protection for my watch. I broke my last Apple Watch while weedeating or something and split the face. Purchased an Apple 3 along with this band and couldn’t get it to charge. Put it on the charger multiple times, orienting the watch to try until the charge symbol came up and walked away. Each time I went back to it, it had not charged. Finally gave up and decided to take the watch out of the case and put it on the charger to charge and in doing so, the nut that the screw secures to broke from the back of the case. I don’t believe this case will provide the kind of protection for my watch that I’m looking for.

I purchased this band along with Apple watch 42mm series 3 as an anniversary gift for my husband May 2018. Nine months later the face of the case fell off and the Apple watch fell in the water while my husband was fishing. I contacted Catalyst and they would not stand by their product. Buy beware!

Do not buy thus unless you are 100% you'll wear this band until it falls apart. Don't even think about breskjng apart switching bands. Screw will strip. Less than a month and it's trashed.
