Great modem for hi speed internet From CenturyLink

I would never pay for a new one as the used ones either work or they don't. The value is good and the speed and features are more than adequate for the average user. The range could be better and is somewhat limited. Even though this is promoted as a modem and router I would still use and additional router that is more powerful

The only problem was the setup. Nothing in the instructions indicate one should work with the already selected ISP, if different than CenturyLink. Once we did that everything went smoothly. My only other annoyance is that we seem to be stuck with an ID Of CenturyLinknnnn and the jumbled alpha-numeric password,

Great Centurlink Modem/router

Best bet for CenturyLink subscribers

And if you have CenturyLink don't screw around - this is the one to get. Ridiculously easy setup. I was sceptical with no antennas, but the power and range is twice what our original Q1000 was. Router is on the second floor...no range extender needed for the basement any more.
