This modem/router works ok. I would just prefer an internet provider not selling products that work with just their items. I would like to choose between multiple options and could not because of where I live.

When I first got this modem/router, it needed to be remotely configured by CenturyLink in order to work with the service in my area. Other than that, all I needed to do was plug it in & it was ready to go. I've been using it for a little over a month now, and so far it works great. I'm happy with my purchase.

Still seem to be working out kinks (as in loss of wifi for some devices for no apparent reason) but it is faster and more powerful than a previous Cisco device.

Centurylink recommended this product to use with their service, not the best modem out their, but better to own than rent, takes less than 10 months to pay for.

After buying the product, I was pleased. The internet was faster than my other product, but now that it is 3 weeks in, it is starting to slow like my other product.

What more can be said..... I upgraded my DSL speed and needed a new model/router. I could order for CenturyLink directly and wait a week or purchase this at BestBuy and be up and running in 20 minutes from getting home. The choice was easy. Installation was easy and configuration was a breeze.

I bought this modem so I could return the one that centurylink was charging me to lease each month, and never worked properly... this one is great and have not had a single connection issue.

I was getting frustrated with the modem that CenturyLink provided, and another one that I had purchased to replace it ended up dying after less than a year. This new modem provides reliable connections and offers far more configuration opportunities than any of the modems CenturyLink provides.

The Century Link router is a very easy to set up product that is fairly plug and play. You do have to use either an Internet connection or call customer service, which is what I did. It was a very easy process and the Centurylink rep took care of the entire process for me and checked the connection to ensure it was running at optimal speed. The only downside is the actual service that is offered in our area and since it is virtually the only one your kinda stuck. Definitely can not blame the actual product for the aweful service.

This modem supports dual Wifi bands. This could be a help if your neighbors are broadcasting on most of the channels. This gives a wider range. But your other equipment must be capable of the expanded range too. The set up was pretty easy and did not need to put in the user ID and password that CenturyLink had provided me. This modem set up right away and we were up and running.

I am not technological savvy but I found the instructions to connect this modem to be very simple and quick. The modem has been working perfectly and I have had no problems once it was connected.

Easy to get it up and running. One touch to connect my tablet. Couldn't have been easier. Works great even with multiple items connected to it. I like that it also has ethernet ports.

Switched from Comcast xfinity to Centurylink, saving money with just as good connection. Just wish there was more selection in modems for centurylink so we could have gotten a lower price.

It was very pleasant to find that the setup was pretty well automated and had good default settings. The setup menu is very straightforward and easy to access. The modem DSL operation is very reliable even at 40 Mb/s and rarely needs to be reset. The wireless function has a good range and has a fairly good "envelope" so it can be connected to up or down stairs. The only minor complaint I have is that the diagram/terminology for the quick setup could be more clear in naming the ports.

Depressing how weak the wireless router is on this unit. I wish they would come out with a better wireless router n modem combo.
