    Have centurylink DSL service. Then this is the modem to get

    The product is ok but the help I got from century Link was terrible. I still can't get on the internet with my computer using Wifi but I can get on with my IPad and IPod using Wifi.

    This DSL modem was easy to get going with DSL. Wireless setup was a little odd if you stray from the default settings. Several times while using the admin tool, various pages would display an error and not display. a page refresh usually would resolve this issue.

    After first trying ActionTec modem, which didn't support the DSL speed I'm using, I got the CenturyLink C1000A. Hooked up easily, and is working flawlessly.

    This is exactly the same modem that is provided by CenturyLink. Definitely the way to go rather than renting one from CenturyLink.

    Had issues with my previous modem through Century Link. It crashed over a weekend. Could have waited for CL to mail one to me and been without internet for several days, but price was the same at Best Buy.
