Poor Service

Employee responded and said that he was able to sell me the correct modem. He looked at the defective modem I brought in and asked if CenturyLink was the provider. I responded yes. Purchased this modem he recommended and tried to install. Could not make it work. Called CenturyLink. they reviewed all I did for wiring and computer setup and said it was correct. CenturyLink then asked I get the box and read the number. I did so and was informed that I was sold the wrong devise. I had to return to the store, turn in the devise for credit and obtain assistance for the correct modem. The new sales clerk knew the original modem was not compatible and said he did not understand why it was sold to me. This wasted several hours of my time and I was not pleased with the experience.

Good modun to own VS rent.

Easy to connect and solid internet connection. However the wifi doesn't have any external antennas and thus doesn't reach my entire house. I hooked up another wifi device in tandem which covers my entire house.
