I love the fact that I can open/close my door remotely, review the status and set a bunch of notifications on my iPhone. My garage is the Wayne Dalton iDrive so I had to place mine near the door so when it's raised, I can't see the flashing warning light. I tried placing it further away but it wouldn't pick up the link to the garage opener. I found after messing with it for several hours that it was very sensitive on placement.

I have Xfinity Home and I saw that this was a peripheral I could add for my garage door to get real time notifications of it opening and closing. Had a few issues with initial setup. Had to connect to the wifi of the Chamberlain opener and go to its setup page to finally get it to connect to my homes wireless network. Once that was complete the pairing of it to my existing garage door was a snap. Highly recommended!!

This is a great solution for all your "garage door" worries. With this product I don't have to wonder if I closed the garage door in the middle of the day. I can simply log on to the app and check the status from anywhere. It even allows me to control it from anywhere. Additionally, I don't have to give the cleaning people a key to my house. They just text me when they are there, and I open the door remotely.

Set up was straightforward. Just find a good position for the gateway where you have a good wifi signal and a good signal to your garage door opener. Some of the reviews lauded the lack of a timer feature (close at 10 pm for example) or the lack of HomeKit support, but for me not a deal breaker. So nice to check the status of the garage door when away from home, or get alerted with family members arrive home.

It took some time to connect to my wifi system. Excellent product and easy to use.

A little more difficult to install than I thought it would be (but then I'm not technically inclined) but after a few tries I got it installed an it works beautifully. I really like it. I also like the fact that you can add other items to this system like lights and thermostat too. It's great when you're away as you can see when someone is checking on your home or comings and goings period. Highly recommend it.

It really works as advertised. very simple to install. Not much too it. I open the garage door from my office through the app.

I figured this would be complicated to setup. I actually did this in about 1/2 hour. The instructions were pretty easy to follow with the guided app. The only thing I found odd was after getting this setup my car remote stopped working. After reprograming that it started working. I have complimented this with an IP video camera in my garage and I can open and close my door and see it too.

love the function of this app and lets me open and close from anywhere. Only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is because you need another device and alot of work arounds to work it echo. If amazon comes out with an easy app then 5 stars

Once a week I would turn around to make sure my garage was closed. No worries anymore!

Installation was easy. I like the integrated warning sound when the door comes down. The App is user friendly. I have recommended to a relative. I LIKE IT 100%.

I needed to have access to opening my garage door via my phone. Looked at wireless new garage motors but were a expensive. Went to Best Buy Smart Home section and one of the agents suggested The Chamberlain, bought it and went home to install it. The easiest thing I have ever done, the Chamberlain phone app walks you through the programming. Seamless process.

It took me about a half hour to forty five minutes to set this up and I'm fairly tech savvy. I have two single garage doors so I bought an additional receiver. That took another fifteen minutes, however once I set it up, it works flawlessly. Awesome to be able to tell if garage door is still open from my phone and actually be able to do something about it.

The product works great. But my iPhone app did cause me to have to re-enter all information. Since then it has worked. I like that if I go hiking or biking I don't have to carry a garage door opener. Everything works from my iPhone. Haven't forgotten to close the door yet so not sure if it will readily alert me when I am gone from home. Hope I don't have to rely on it.

I used to think I forgot to close the garage door, I would turn around & go home to find out it was closed. Now I can just check the app on my phone.

Controller works and does it's job. Easy to install and set it up running. There are delays in sending signals to open or close the garage door at times. But, Chamberlain MyQ apps needs improvements in placing controls intuitively and support for multiple household accts.

This device is awesome as I can track my garage door even if I was away from home. There are a couple of times that the device doesn't work (you'd have to restart the app) but mostly, it's spot on. Very easy to install. Just make sure your garage has a good wifi signal.

I was impressed with the ease of installing this device and the practical design of the door sensor. I'm still waiting for it to be homekit compatible, something that was announced but hasn't yet come to market. That's the only reason that I held the 5th and final star.
