great for those who are forgetful and doesn't remember if they closed their garage door on their way out

This garage door interface is a good start. It does open and close the garage door, but there are a few misses for me. 1. No HomeKit access. Chamberlain wordsmiths things to make seem like they are HomeKit enabled, however they are not. A firmware upgrade will not fix this, a new controller is required for HomeKit. This was a deal-breaker for me and resulted in me returning the device. 2. A very annoying beep when the garage door is closing. Very annoying. 3. Door sensor requires a battery. This means the battery will fail at some point and need to be replaced. An unnecessary burden. Overall, this garage door interface is not for me.

Easy to install and works as advertised. Get peace of mind knowing the door is close when kids left for school.

Love this product. My only wish would be a ping notification when the garage opens and closes.

Initial integration of this device, home wifi, and existing opener to a bit of work, and I am not sure why it did finally work. It does not act as a wifi enabled opener as advertised with very simple physical installation. Notification of door operation on smartphone work about 90% of time. Overall, it is worth the price and effort.

No issues - works great! I ended up buying 2 and integrated with my home security system.

So my garage door opener does not work with the Chamberlain unit, but I still love it. I can 'see' if the door is open or closed by using my phone APP. My husband has a habit of forgetting the door in the open position. OOPS! This way I can tell even if I'm not at home. Great product. My phone pings when the door opens. Our garage is detached and quite a ways away from our home, works well anyway.

Before I purchased this unit I looked up my garage door lift to make sure the unit was compatible. The setup was quick and easy. The unit indeed was not compatible with my lift. I packed it and shared with Chamberlain that if didn't work with this model lift.

I installed this a few days ago, and things are working as expected. No complaints here.

In a rush to leave the house I often wonder if I closed the garage door. Now I can check my phone to see the status of my "Smart Garage Door". As with all of the remote garage door openers I have owned, the range is very limited. My remotes are out of range as soon as I leave the driveway. As long as I have access to WiFi I can open and close the garage door from my smart phone. Great product!
