Great product. The ability to open and close my garage, no matter where I am, is nice. No worrying about jerks stealing my deliveries, either. Paired with our security cameras, this thing is perfect.

Purchased this item to connect to an older Genie unit. Step by step process was super easy to walk through the install. Very convenient app.

Love the myQ garage door opener! Now I am automated....can open / close door from my phone. And can check to see when was it opened or closed last. Best $30 spent.

I was excited to use since since for some reason my Chamberlain garage system does not like to pair to my car. Set up was easy when it finally did want to pair and I set everything up according to the animations and suggestions in the app. It is very responsive to open and close the door when using the app. However, it will get errors often thinking the door was closed already, but then open it. Then you have to close the door manually. Secondly, there is no integration for smart devices which is a huge downfall these days. Yes, you have the option of using IFTTT for making a applet to work with a smart device, but you are extremely limited, and most connections do not work. If it didn't have the garage errors and had smart home integrations, of course this device would be amazing. But until then, you are seriously better off with a cheap garage door clicker.

So easy to install and set up! I was able to install it in the garage in a very short period of time, and it integrated easily with my existing opener. Now I can control the garage with my phone and make sure that it's closed.

Works great to make a dumb garage SMART! The app works great and lets you know when door is open or closed. You can set an automatic timer to close the garage door at night...just in case you forget.

I initially set this up using the wifi from my Eero network and it worked great for a couple months. Then randomly one day I noticed that it wasnt working anymore. After lots of troubleshooting I found that it “wasn’t connecting to the MyQ servers”. I tried multiple times to get it to reconnect but it just wouldn’t stay connected. So as a last resort I tried connecting it to my old modem/router that im using just for the Eero connection and it’s working perfectly fine now. Connection issues aside, it’s great to have wireless control over the garage now.
