The myQ information said it would work by adding an app to the screen in my car. I installed the hardware and, after an afternoon of making accounts, pairing it with the WiFi and then pairing it with the garage door opener, the garage door works with my iPhone. But after all the work it turns out that Chamberlain no longer lets you put the app on my cars electronic screen. Can’t do it anymore. Looked at numerous YouTube videos complaining about the same problem. So it doesn’t work at all for my use.

We had a keypad on the outside of the garage for remote entry that died. We park a couple of cars outside of the garage and we don't have remote openers in those cars. This allows me to give access to the door to whomever we want to.
