The setup and installation was pretty simple but once it was all done, it worked with no issues. EXCEPT. When opening the garage door, it opens without a hitch. When closing the garage, there’s about a 10 second delay with a bunch of flashing lights and then it finally closes. That’s the only reason I returned it.

The device needs a "learn code" button that you use to program remotes. My garage opener only has the old dip switches. I took one star off due to the app being a bit buggy and nearly useless once you link it to a smart assistant of your choosing (though also read up on the compatibility and limitations on that feature).

Easy setup and worked with my Linear door opener (not listed on compatible devices). Docking a star for no integrated HomeKit ability (have to add a $60+ hub… come on). Also, it appears that you can pair a second door with it, but the additional sensors sold separately only by Amazon and cost $45. So to get a second sensor, I may as well buy this thing again and throw away the main hub. Wasteful.

Keep asking me to reset the garage door but after clearing the code and reinstalling, it work like a dream. It’s really an excellent product. I no longer have to walk with the garage door opener when I go for walks, just use my phone.
