It was difficult to set up because I have a Ryobi garage door opener. See, the company that makes this unit sued Ryobi for copyright infringement. They one and my Ryobi app stopped working. So I had to purchase this unit and the instructions didn't list Ryobi as compatible. It is but I had to keep trying to program it on my own. Finally figured it out or got lucky or something. Good way to smarten up your garage door.

The hardware, software and cloud integration is as good as apple. So great, I hardly miss the lack ofHomeKit support even though I hope they will consider in the future. I had a Insignia HomeKit enabled at twice the price. But this is so seamless.

Works flawless through the app to open and close the door and can use with Siri and shortcuts via the LiveKey app.
