It was not till I got to the instruction does it let me know that my opener will not work with this product. It will let me know if the door is open or closed but the product will not open or close the garage door.

Instead of purchasing a smart garage door, I purchased a stupid garage door opener with power backup and this smart opener for just 29.99. It came to 9.99 after few days though for sometime but that's ok. I recommend this to anyone looking for smart opener

Up until recently I could use this in connection with my Homebridge setup to work properly with Siri, HomeKit, and CarPlay to open and close my garage door. Now Chamberlain has shown their hand and disabled access to myQ services. If you were told by someone to get this... don't. Even using the myQ app is terrible. It doesn't refresh properly, only works half the time, and is full of POPUPS and ADS. This product is going straight to eWaste.

With a separate app you can control your door with alexa. They don't recommend using alexa since anyone can get in your garage just by telling alexa to open the door.

You go to an app to not only open and close, if you were second guessing whether you closed the door, the app would tell you

Installation of the Aladdin took hours because if a wifi issue. The Q is the way to go, extremely responsive for being over wifi and easy to set.

The sensor button to pair up with hub was pushed in but not connecting. Had to use little extra force before getting it to work. Very close to returning it because of the difficulties with pairing. Once setup it works well.

There are 5 of us in the house and this is much better then buy additional openers.

Little slow to close as it goes through warning sound / flashing light before closing but that is probably required. Open is just as good as using the remote. Nice feature where it detects if the door is open.
