This was super simple to setup (took like 10 minutes), and works without any issues at all (doesn’t lose wifi connection, app always connects, etc.). One thing I wish these did, but is probably a limitation of my Nest app, is being able to see the garage door status within my nest app. Overall, great purchase

This does require that you have a knowledge of your network. Once i had the device hooked up to my 2.4gz network, i proceeded to pair the MyQ device to my garage door opener.

With this you can just take a quick peek at the app to verify. If it was left open, you can just close it!

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While the product works and initial setup was easy, be aware it DOES NOT work easily/natively with Google Home; difficult (paid subscription it seems) to get it to work with Google Assistant (by way of a paid subscription and IFTTT configuration), and even then only supports closing the door ?! I'm glad I only paid $30. I'll be very excited to replace this with a better product sooner rather than later.
