Wi-Fi Garage Door opener

I can easily tell if my garage door is open, or closed. Although myQ lost all of it's settings about a week ago and I had to set it up from scratch. It would be nice if the notifications were a little more customizable. A little bit of a pain to go into the App every time to open, or close the door.

Good while it lasted

This did the job and I was happy with it, until one day it just decided to not connect to wifi anymore. Did all the usual troubleshooting including power cycling the device, the wireless access point, factory reset, etc, and no luck. Guess it’s time to buy something else.

But chamberlain does not work with google. So your garage will remain dumb. Unless you go with IFTT route and then you can have 1 command to “Activate” close garage. Don’t buy.

Great device but platform, not so much

This product was intended for the vacation home and I could only add it as a second garage to my primary home.

I would advise that you call tech support and check before you buy. They advised me that I needed a later version of the unit that I purchased. Might have been old inventory in the store. Just call Chamberlain first.
