Beware - Useless after update

If you were buying this to work with your home assistant or home automation system, the scammy company issued an update that breaks all of it. Bought this to use with my home automation system but product was made completely useless after it had my money and it was too late to return. Horrible company.

We wanted to prevent unauthorized usage of our myQ ecosystem through third-party apps. Our open/close features continue to be free of cost. Best regards.

Posted .Hello Lawrence, we are very sorry to hear that you were unable to get your myQ device working. There can be different factors that play into this issue such as having your smart hub more than 7-10 feet away from your motor, not having your door sensor mounted on the proper location of your door or having interference in the garage. If none of these pointers fix your issue, there may be a problem with your logic board as it will send signals to your hub after you press the learn button, so it can pair to it. We suggest contacting our support team at 800-528-9131 M-F, 5am-6pm, PT, and on Saturday 7am-4pm, PT. so we can help you resolve this issue. Garage door opener

The garage door opener is not universal. You have to have a specific type of garage for it to work. The opener looked great and the Summary read well. I was so disappointed to return it.
