Ultimately after much frustration and a few phone calls to customer service it was deemed my Wayne Dalton quantum 3212 was not compatible with this device. Disappointed... as of the time of the purchase the device was not listed on the websites as non-compatible.

Posted .SLEFAN, sorry the MyQ Smart Garage Hub wasn't compatible with your old opener. This device is compatible with a vast majority of openers made after 1993, but there are some exceptions.

Please note, if you drive off prior to the garage going all the way down and receiving a notification that the garage is closed, it will reopen. It happened to me multiple times and I realized that was the issue. However, when done correctly, it is awesome to have.
