I will look into it but still works since I have a camera that shows me if the door is open or closed so I don’t have to take the app’s word for it.

Beware of compatibility with different brands

After multiple attempts at trying to sync this with my garage door model, I came to determine that my garage door is not compatible. Chamberlain customer service said that I can use it to monitor whether or not my door was opened or closed, but won't be able to open or close it remotely as was expected. I asked why my garage door opener is listed as compatible and they pointed me to their disclaimer that basically says the information on their website may be inaccurate.
