This device is very convenient if you need to let someone in while you are away. It was not the easiest to setup and it did disconnect once while we were on vacation. Luckily we had given our dog sitter a physical remote or she wouldn’t have been able to enter. The battery in my 2nd sensor also went bad after 2 weeks. There is a feature to have the doors close automatically after a certain time at night which is helpful if you forget to put the doors down.

Good quality product, setup is little messy. I don’t like the app. If you follow the book, it will work just fine. If you miss one step, you are screwed. Please make sure the hub is away from any metals and may be little far from you garage good motor. It does not work with Alexa, which I hate. It will tell you accurately if the door is open, the notification are nice.

I am very pleased with the MyQ Smart Garage Hub. I like the security in knowing when my garage door is opened or closed. It is very easy to set up. I highly recommend it.

Easy to use solution for those of us who can't remember if we closed the darn garage door! Install was easy for me. Took about a half an hour. App is easy to use.

This worked with my garage door and gives the peace of mind that my garage door is closed or can close it from my phone if I forgot. I like that. My two suggestions for MyQ would be to sell a version of this that has 2 sensors if you have two doors. Also the integration is only with Google Assistant app...I have not figured out how to make it work with Google Home yet, if that's even possible. I was hoping it would work directly with Google Home.

I absolutely love this thing. I moved into a house where the garage door opener was missing, so we had to get one of these. It’s very easy to setup and to use, and you can use your phone to open your garage door so by the time you get home it’s already open and you can pull right in. It also works great if you’re out of town and have guest that need to come stay at your house or if you’re not home and a friend needs. a place to crash… just open it using your phone and your guests are inside. Highly recommend.

Super easy to install following the instructions. I had it up in about 15 minutes. The app is pretty basic and has all the info you need, including a history of when the garage opens and shuts.

Great smart garage door opener! Easy to install, like the notifications you can set up. Love the set times you can have it automatically close in case I forget to close it at night.

Ease to use and set up! Love being able to open garage with phone! Getting alerts is great too! Paying $1 a month to use with google assistance is silly but I don’t do that.

Not happy with that Garage Door opener for a couple reasons. Let me start by saying that installation was pretty straightforward and simple, it's when you get to the integrations that things start to fall apart. First, despite Apple logos all over the packaging, it doesn't work with HomeKit out of the box. Evidently, that's a $99 extra hub you have to purchase (not really mentioned ANYWHERE). Then, with Google, you have to say "Tell MyQ to open my garage door". It's not REALLY integrated into Google Home, it's basically a skill like IFTTT. If you are in the Google universe, it might be ok for you, but for me, the purpose was so I would not have to dig out a remote for the garage door. Instead, I would have to dig out the phone since it won't work with Siri voice control. Not compatible with Siri Shortcuts either.

I originally purchased this product because I thought that I needed it. Only to find out when I called Chamberlains technical support number that I didn't need it. We got my network to acknowledge the hub and it to work fine. The process also allowed my garage door that had Wi-Fi capability built in to be acknowledged by my hub. So the product worked well but the support team from the Chamberlain hub was very helpful and supportive in the installation of the product. Best Buy also allowed me to return the product with in that time frame which also is also very reassuring when purchasing electronic equipment.

My Q was so easy to install and program with my garage. It has saved me so many times from accidentally leaving my garage door open too long. Great for preventing garage thieves.

Purchased this to give me a little more comfort that I actually closed the garage door after I had left the house. App works well for my needs. "Is the garage door open or closed?" I can easily open or close the door from my phone. I have not connected it to our home automation hub. At this time, I'm not interested in having the door automatically open/close when I arrive or leave. I understand there may be a subscription fee if you want more functionality with automation. Very easy to install.

Installation was easy and took only a 15 minutes or so. Works well from my phone and the logging is decent. I have had a few false open/close alerts for no obvious reason (not wind, no earthquakes, etc) which is the only problem so far. Also of note is when you shut the door from the app it beeps like a burglar alarm and flashes the light. It's for safety, but seems a bit on the excessive side. Also the big LED light only functions for that singular reason and does not provide any additional illumination.

Easy to install. Great to keep an eye on your door when not home, yet still allows you to operate door while away.

Wow - excellent product. Have been using the meross products over the last year or so and while that is a decent product, this one makes life much easier. The only reason I decided to try this in the first place was cause my other house has units that the meross products were having issues with. From the ease of install to ease of use - this one certainly is great. The only con? Alexa enablement - have to go through hoops to make it work.

Inexpensive way to give access to extended family and friends.

Remembering the garage door when you're still in the neighborhood is not a problem but on your way to the airport or realizing there is a driving rainstorm while you are on the other side of town - this is your go to gadget. Once installed to your garage door opener, you can take care of those senior moment. Older equipment is a bit more of a challenge. but the convenience is worth it. Make sure you already have a camera installed that lets you see the status of your door.

I installed this MyQ Smart Garage Hub in 3 parking garage, this is easy to install and operate. Notifications are received fast, recommend this for every garage.

This might be the easiest smart home install I’ve ever done. And well worth the value of answering the age old question “Did we leave the garage door open?” As other reviewers will tell you, it does not allow auto close and It sounds a loud alarm when closing remotely. But if you really think about it - Those are great Safety features. After all it will alarm you That you left it open - and then it’s up to you to decide if you want to close it remotely.
