Great plug an play product. Easy install. I now have comfort knowing if the door is closed or open from my phone. Able to open and close remotely if needed.

The installation is pretty straight forward, just follow the directions. My Genie opener was the hard part. After I got the learning process down it was easy and works everytime.

I've had this product for about a month now, and it works great so far. It was also very easy to set up ans install just follow the instructions on there app and done.

My garage became smart now. No more worrying if i have closed my garage. Can operate my garage from anywhere in the world.

Good instructions on installation and set up. The process was quick and easy. Now I can monitor my garage door and open and close it remotely, awesome!

It worked but it is having a problem with the homelink system for both my cars. It erased all of my remote control devices. Chamberlain tech service is trying to resolve this issue, it has to go to their tier 2 level of support

Super easy to install and it’s working great. I open/close my garage door and get notifications when then door has been open for certain amount of time.

I don't know why I waited so lng to purchase this to add to my smart home collection. It is really easy to install and the app makes setup a breeze. It works great to open your garage door from anywhere. I use it to let my workers come grab tools if I'm on another job and also have used it to let my friends in remotely. It tells you when the door is open and closed and has a running timer to let you know how long the door was open or closed. I will be purchasing a second one for my other door. Highly recommended.

Love being able to get alerts when a door opens or is left open and to be able to open/close the garage from anywhere. I just wish when i could use myQ and the visor button in my truck to operate the Genie opener now controlled by myQ. I gate having a huge door opener clipped to my visor. Oh well. guess price I have to pay for automating things.

I bought this in lieu of a new garage door clicker because the cost was less and I could install the app in more than one mobile device. Installation was easy and using the app is easy. My only issue is with the app where it doesn't allow you to open/close the garage if you had previously opened/closed the garage using the app. you have to force stop the app to get it working again. Hopefully, it will be addressed in an app update.

Great buy, easy to setup, gives peace of mind to have your doors closed no matter what at a certain time at night.

I’d give it a 5 if the setup didn’t take some google searches to get it to sync correctly with my door opener. Other than that, it’s reassuring to know that the door is closed when you leave (and if you forget, you can check the app). I hooked it up to Amazon Key and now all of my valuable deliveries get dropped off in my garage and I get notified when it’s dropped off and the garage door has been opened and closed.

I installed this because many a times my husband forgets to close the garage door. It scares me beyond belief so I bought this to insure that won’t happen again. It has the option to set a schedule so that even if anyone forgets to close the garage, it will do it automatically. Simple, no fuss, straight to the point and easy installation, as long as you have a power source and WiFi, you’re good to go. I’d highly recommend this product!

You may find a very fancy one, which can be completely integrated with Google or Alexa. But this one is simply to allow you to check the status, and to open/close the garage door through their own app. And that's enough for your use if you are looking for such a feature. Easy to install and simply the hub is connected to the wifi network and to the existing garage door motor on the ceiling. It gives you the push notification through its app when the garage door is opened (and you can configure when to notify) Sale price was around $30. Recommended.

Overall I love this item. It’s very easy to install, very easy to connect to the existing garage door opener, app is very intuitive. I love the fact too that I can open and close the door with my Apple Watch. It’s great on rainy days when walking the dog so I don’t have to bring out my phone. We can just go in through the garage instead of the house. I didn’t ding them on the review for not being able to connect to the SmartThings Hub b/c I knew that when I bought it. That would be the only thing that would have made the product better, that and the ability to connect it to Alexa.

Great way to see if your garage door is open or closed when you get two blocks away and that sinking feeling sets in. Connects to WiFi and acts like another universal remote. You pair it up to your existing opener like any other remote. That little box in the picture is a little gyro that mounts to the door. That's the device that tells you whether the door is open or closed. It uses a little watch battery. Overall it's a clever device for folks like me that are too cheap to get a whole new opener.

A great option to smart up your garage without purchasing a new opener. Setup was very easy, I did watch the MyQ install video first and then when it came time to install it was a breeze. I had been looking between this hub and a few others but after a night of forgetting to close the garage, I finally decided on this unit due to its ease of installation and its compatibility with units. Once installed I have set up an alert if I forget to shut the garage at night and also if we leave the house and forget to close it. Again a great smart addion to the house.

I’m not sure why this thing gets ANY negative reviews. The only wire you need to hook up is to plug it in to an outlet and the pairing procedure with the garage takes about 15 seconds. I have weak WiFi in my garage and this has not failed on me once. Awesome product. There are no monthly fees to pay unless you want to link it to certain services. What 97% of people are going to use it for (phone operation and to check status), it’s absolutely free. Thought I’d clear that up.
