This is great if you ride a motorcycle or if you have family visiting. I have the app on my phone and it is great because it is one less thing on my motorcycle key chain. It is fantastic knowing I can hit it and when I come around to the house I can pull the bike right in. Recently I had my mother visit and I gave her the wrong house key. I was at a friends and just opened the garage for her to enter. Life made easy.

I purchased for my garage and it was great and I have been using it. Install was not bad but I did use a YouTube video to help with the install. I]this is a great Product and I’m able to open and close my garage door wherever I am this is great bc I only have 2 door openers and I leave them in my cars and sometimes I will be driving another vehicle and not have the openers but bc I have the app on my phone that’s not a problem. I would recommend to anyone wanting to access the garage door from anywhere.

If you have an older garage door opener like something from 2004 or newer this is great. I was able to set this up in no time all by myself. The app was easy to use for me and is great to know when my door is open in case we forget to close it, now we can always be sure it is closed. Can open and close via the app. Make sure you have decent WiFi hitting your garage though otherwise may not be too useful. Test WiFi by holding your phone close to the garage door motor, if the phone shows 2 bars you should be OK.

When I couldn't find a suitable replacement with a traditional opener, I bought this. After dialing in the settings, this is a very convenient alternative. I can open this from the app when at work, home in bed, on the couch, you get the idea.

Works great and I don't have to worry about if I closed the garage door when I left instead of circling the block to check. Can also remotely open the garage door for visiting family if we are not already home. only down side is I can't get it to work with the google home like it should be able to.

I had the need to be able to allow someone access to my garage when I wasn't at home. This fit the bill. I can open the app on my phone and while talking to the person, open the garage door and allow them access then after they have completed their tasks they call and I close the garage door. It has really been a great accessory to my home.

Overall this has been great to ensure that we remember to close the garage door. Installation was easy, as was setting up alerts. The one issue is that we have had occasional phantom openings since installing this. The manufacturer website has info about how to resolve this if you experience it. Basically the frequency was overlap with some else's remote. Its a pain to fix because you have to reset everything, include your own remotes.

One week since Purchase and I would Recommend the MyQ. Been thinking about it for a while so timing was right when it dropped to $29! 30 mins from opening box to completed install. Easier than expected. I had a snag connecting to my Eero mesh network during set up but simply unplugging the My Q hub and reconnecting solved the connection issue. I haven't had issue since. I use my garage door more than my main door. Smart phone control is a nice conveince when walking the doy or doing yard work.

Easy set up, works as advertised. Wish that it integrated with other platforms such as Alexa but the app is easy to use.

I got this so that I wouldn't wouldn't have to worry so much on my old garage door opener battery running out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it works with my wife's phone, Sometimes with mine. Maybe there's something about switching between wifi and cell service that messes it up.

Works great! Let's me know if I leave the garage door open and let's me close it while away.

Neat product for a safe garage and is very easy to install and use. It took just minutes to set up.

This was a peace-of-mind purchase for my wife, and we were prepared to be disappointed by something priced so affordably. But not only has the Chamberlain delivered on its promises, it was fairly easy to setup - as long as you have a ladder, screwdriver and drill. The bonus to this is the ability to setup instant notifications on your smartphone, so you know exactly when your garage door is opening and closing. Very, very handy.

I bought the Chamberlain MyQ recently when it was on sale for just $30. At first, it was a little tricky to connect it to my wi-fi because my wi-fi signal isn't the best in the garage but, since I got it set up, it's worked like a champ! It's got a nice safety feature to let people know the garage door is closing. Aside from the wi-fi signal issue, installation was pretty easy and I couldn't be happier with it. Now, we'll never wonder again whether we forgot to close the garage door.

The installation was easy even if the hub for some reasons had difficulties to connect to my router. I gave only 4 stars as at 2 occasions, the app missed a notification of the door closing and represented the wrong status. Just needed to reopen the garage door/close to fix it. Note that there is a loud warning noise warning people when you use the hub to close your garage door... as a security when closing it remotely

While it doesn't feel like a revolutionary or necessary smart item, it does add a lot convenience. Especially for those moments when you've driven 20 minutes from your house and you realize, "Did I close the garage door?" Installation was painless, it paired quickly and easily with my home network and found my garage door openers code without a hiccup. Mounting the sensor and hub were straight forward and the step-by-step instructions in the app made getting this up and running a breeze.

This is a very nice device and works as advertised. I had few issues while setting up the device but is working like a charm ever since. An easier and less expensive route to make your garage opener smart. Only downside - need subscription to link and control with Alexa or Google Assist voice features. To me this not an issue as the app is very straight-forward and responds very well.
