Myq smart garage hub is something that every family should have. It has made my life so much easier and better. Can't ask more. I have downloaded the app in my phone and every time I forget to close my garage all I have to do is open my app and touch the screen and here I go, garage will automatically close on its own. I don't even have to be physically there to close it. What else can I ask for? Definitely worth buying it.

Opens the garage door, it does take a little in order to open the app and then load the app and then click the open or close button. i dont use this on a daily basis, i use this to open the garage remotely only because of how long it takes to whip out the phone and open the app and then click it. will likely get another sensor since i have 2 seperate garage doors and this just comes with one sensor

I constantly had to turn around to CHECK if I put the garage door down. I wasn't looking for it when I saw this device. But I thought if this works it would be great. Let me say this, I have not had to "go check" since. Absolutely fantastic.... If you have an apple phone dont install the app until you power up the device. Its a simple install if you do it in order. Otherwise you will have to back track a lot.

Couldn’t have been easier to set up. My only complaint is when closing the garage door from the app, the loud beeping and flashing lights are a bit excessive and annoying. I didn’t bother mounting this to the ceiling like it recommends, I just through it on a shelf by an outlet in our garage. I’m pretty sure the mounting to a ceiling recommendation is strictly for visibility of the flashing light when the garage door is about to close.

Easy install and works great. Able to check the status on my cell phone and open or close. A must have !!

This door opener is perfect. I have it alert me when my garage door has been open too long and I can have it close the door automatically (if open) each night. Installation was a breeze! (follow instructions on the app). The first day after installing, the app notified me when the door had not closed properly. It has done exactly what I needed from the first day. If I want, I even have the option to have Amazon delivery packages in the garage.

I bought one door opener with automation, one without and recently upgraded. Was quick and easy to install and just like to have the flexibility to open, more importantly close & get notification of activity when away from home. Would need to check the compatibility first, and some other caveats around distance from router etc, so check that information before purchase.

You'll either love or hate this unit depending on what you're looking to get out of it. If you want to include it into other smart-home integration, you'll likely scoff at the subscription costs or other limitations (compatibilities, routines, etc.). You can read other people's reviews for more details about the pay-in aspects. If you're like me and just a free, stand-alone app to check the garage door's status (because of your unjustified paranoia and/or OCD) and lower/raise the door as needed, this will fit the bill. These two aspects of the functionality are included at no cost. The list of compatible door openers is pretty extensive. Setup/programming is fairly straightforward (you'll just need access to your door opener's manual for some guidance). The kit comes with a hub that mounts stationary to a wall and a door sensor that gets adhered to an upper corner of the garage door with some Velcro included in the kit. It's a very simple, yet effective mechanism for determining if the door is open/closed, and the free app is easy to set up and use for the simple "status" and "open/close" functions. Despite the fact that you can use one hub for multiple door openers, I ended up buying two full kits instead of one kit and one extra sensor because the sensors weren't sold at my particular store (without waiting on a ship-to-store [or home] order) and cost only a couple dollars less than the full kit.

Notifications are as near instantaneous as you can get. App is easy to use, and commands to open/close are executed promptly. Hardware mounting is easy, and components are unobtrusive. Directions should be clearer on how far the hub should be installed away from garage door sensor and opener motor, but tech support cleared it up.

I purchased this for my home after moving into a new apt. I never looked into this as I always thought I needed to replaced my old garage lift. Turns out you don’t and this product makes it easy to set up! I only wish that their app would sync with CarPlay but I guess that’s first world problems?

A good product and really great for the price. While the hub can operate 2 garage doors. I couldn’t find a sensor that’s sold separately. So I had to purchase 2 units to get another sensor. Programming it to operate 2 doors was a bit tricky. I had to contact customer support but they were patient and walked me through the set up. I haven’t found a way to connect it to Alexa but not sure if it’s needed

Like the price and it’s awesome. After the latest update it works great and doesn’t lag anymore
