I loved this device, however it would not work with my Genie Garage Door opener. The on line support and features of the MYQ program are great. My wife has a Liftmaster Door with the features and checking and opening the door from her phone is the best. If it works with your garage opener get one.

This app works well for us... We moved into a house with no garage door openers... For the price of one opener... You can buy this unit and program it to multiple smart phones. Awesome to be able to open the garage door from anywhere. This is a good buy! Sometimes it gets out of sync... but the convenience this product offers outweighs a glitch every now and then.

This garage door opener works great, the app works well, and it was very easy to install, took me longer to find my tools than to get it installed. Only complaint is that Chamberlain wants you to pay a subscription fee to use Google Assistant or IFTTT with this device, seems like they're just trying to sucker you for more money.

Made my old garage a smart garage... super easy to install. Allows you to open and close from a smart phone/ tablet. Also you can give secure access to family via the app. Another feature I like is the custom notifications. Only thing I wish it was capable of doing is communicating with Alexa.

This garage door opener is excellent easy to use and install. Installs easily just follow the instructions given and you should have no issues. Once installed connect with the MyQ app. Open the app to view the garage doors status meaning if it open or closed. Easily open your garage door from anywhere via the app. Works well two months with no issues. Happy with the purchase.

I have a 20+ year old Lift Master that was moved to the single car garage door a few years ago when I purchased a new MyQ opener for the main garage door. This was easy to install and program and add it to the MyQ app. Now I can see the status of both doors just by launching the app on either my phone or Apple Watch My one complaint is that I will have to add a bridge ($80-100) in order to make the openers work with Home Kit. I am sure that the manufacturer could just write an update that would allow this to happen without having to fork over money for a device that does only one thing! I have used Craftsman, Chamberlain or Liftmaster openers my entire life. I am now retired, so this expenditure is not available in the budget. The website says that the hub is Home Kit compatible. Not unless you buy the bridge! Very disappointed!

This wifi garage door opener is great. It allows you to open and close your garage door from anywhere. You can also receive notification when your garage door opens or closes. The app also tracks when and how long the door has been open or closed. The only down side is there isn't a feature for multiple users on one account. My solution was just using my account and login info on my wife's phone. So now we both have the same access and alerts on our cell phones.

MyQ took about 10 minutes to set up. The app has a nice walk through. Easy enough. It requires a separate app for direct control. It does NOT link to the Nest app or Google Home. It is compatible with Google Assistant, but it is not simple to set up. After getting the device set up with the MyQ app which involves creating an account, you have to set up a Google Assistant subscription (free for 2 years, no credit card required) through the MyQ account. Once that subscription is active, open Google Assistant on a mobile device, open the Compass menu, search for MyQ, and link the MyQ account to Google Assistant. Google Assistant still will NOT directly control the garage, but it will pass commands to the MyQ app that will listen to voice commands. So ya, "Works with Google"... Mostly. Overall it works fine, but the advertised integration is a bit of a letdown.

This product is awesome. Easy to pair with WiFi, and step-by-step Youtube instructions. I love it! Didn't even have to program it to my vehicle, which is why I got this. Also, at time of closure, blinks rapidly and beeps. I would highly recommend this product. Affordable and Efficient!

One of my twenty year old Chamberlain Garage Door Openers (which were connected too and controlled by ADT Pulse) discontinued working; therefore, I replaced it with a new Chamberlain Unit since it would bolt right in place of the old unit and I would not have to change brackets and tracks. I have two units in that same garage and being peculiar I wanted both units to match. I installed both units and then discovered that I could not control them with the ADT Pulse Garage Door Openers. Therefore, I had to purchase the MyQ Smart Hub to have remote access to the doors. I purchased the Hub and an additional sensor for the second unit. Installation was fairly simple and I found that the MyQ system responds better than the ADT Pulse controls. Again, with the MyQ system not being compatible with ADT Pulse I could not program my garage lights (interior/exterior) to come on when the doors opened. Then the thought came to reinstall the ADT Pulse controllers and utilize the sensors to indicate to ADT Pulse when the doors are open or closed. MyQ system gives better control and performance of the opening and closing aspect and I can still utilize ADT Pulse to control the lighting portion.

I have this working for two garage doors. The physical install was very easy and only took 15 minutes. However, the wi-fi connection portion of the install did not work as documented in the instructions. I had to call the support number for assist. They walked me through a different method which worked perfectly to get it connected. This portion of the install took me over an hour when I add the wait time to get to the customer service person. Bottom line: It's nice to have a method to see if your garage doors are open/closed and to actually open/close them right from your internet connected cell phone. And the price point for this device was acceptable. I would have rated 5 stars if I did not have the connection issue mentioned above.

Product works great. Works great with my garage door. The only problem I have had is the hub for the second garage door will occasionally show “yellow” means an issue and will have to be reset to be used. It comes unlinked with the main hub.

Awesome gadget for the price and its performance, work really good does the job installation was really easy as well as the pair with garage door motor 4 stars because they need to work on the alarm sounds it’s totally useless

I have 3 garage doors and they didn't have the extra door sensors available at the store (1 hub can work for 2 doors but the sensors were $50 and a hub with a sensor was $60 at the time) so I bought 3 hubs. Installation was very easy and they are fantastic. No more wondering if we left a door open and we can close them remotely if we did. You can also get notifications every time the doors open or close in a specified period and can get alerts if they have been open for a specified amount of time. The only thing I would recommend is adding a wifi camera to the garage to verify the status. The app has been accurate so far but there is some delay in reporting. Also, you can only use one set of credentials in the app. which doesn't make sense. Different family members should be able to have their own and you should be able to log their access but you can't do that yet. There are competing products that have geofencing, support Alexa etc. without a fee but for me, ease of installation (no wiring required) and the alerts you can get from the app. made this my choice and I'm very happy with it.

The pros: Very easy installation. The phone app is very simple. The Cons: This is a huge con for me. I use my google home for most of my home. Google will close the door but will not open the door. I have wrote the company asking for this to be added to their app. This was their response: Dear Brenda, Safety is the primary concern of our products. It was a conscious decision not to allow verbal commands to open the door. All complaints are addressed, but there are situations which will not be changed. This is one of those circumstances. I bought this to control an old LiftMaster garage door. It was easy to install but setup through the app was confusing. I ended up having to replace the old remote control with a new one in order to maintain compatibility with a remote keypad I have and for the car built-in. The reason was very technical and it took a lot of Googling to figure that out. Once I got it working it was great, and I was able to link it over to Homekit with a MyQ Home Bridge so it works with the rest of my Homekit-based home, and that too has been working great. I had setup hiccups with the Home Bridge too using their app which is why I'm giving this 4 starts - setup should be more bulletproof. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase, but I don't think everyone would be happy with the setup process.

I had read all of the negative reviews on this product and I still decided to give it a try. It was easy to install but the setup is confusing. They need to rework the software for install. It still only took me a few minutes to figure out but could be much easier. So far no complaints except for the no alexa integration. Hopefully they will soon add this and I will give it 5 stars

On a cold MN night, I had my garage door bounce open, unbeknownst to me. I couldn't understand why I was so cold and the heat ran all night until I went out to me car in the morning. I vowed this wouldn't happen again, and this was the cure. The install was very easy - climbing the ladder was the hardest part. The app was intuitive, alerts are very helpful and customizable. Other cool uses include, "Hey uber driver, it's the one with the garage door open," and amazon delivery direct to garage. Only drawback is the need to buy a subscription to integrate with home automation (Alexa, etc.).

The service itself earns five stars, but the lack of promises features earns it three. Avg. 4 stars. It's an added comfort to know you can check to see if your garage door is shut while away from home in case you think you forgot to close it. It's a nice convenience to close the door in the evening without having to go out to the garage. It says it's compatible with Google Assistant, but when I try to add it to Google Home, the app doesn't show myQ or Chamberlain as an option for devices. Setup was very simple and straight-forward. Check compatibility with your garage first to ensure it will be able to open and close it. If not, you can still check the status of the door; you just can't open or close it using the myQ.

I was able to get the Chamberlain MyQ Smart Garage Hub at a discounted price for the holidays, so the price made it an appealing must buy item. The whole setup took me less than 15 minutes. The device easily integrated with my smart Home Assistant configuration, so now I am able to control the garage door by voice commands through the Google Home assistant app, and manually through MyQ app. The flashing LED light with the built-in siren/alarm is a nice safety feature to have when closing and opening the garage door remotely, as it alerts 15 seconds in advance before engaging the overhead motor. Note: This item is only compatible with MyQ ready Smart Garage door openers.
