Now I can control my garage door from my phone and I always know whether my garage door is closed or open and how long it’s been closed. It connected to my WiFi and got set up pretty easy. Well worth the purchase .

Very happy with the ease of use. The app is great and even sets audible alarms on your phone if the garage doors are ever left open for a period of time... or if the door is opened outside of your normal operating hours.

Ever thought you forgot to close your garage door? Worry no longer...... Garage door company recommended it and I bought it at Best Buy for half the money. Easy to install. Watch the online videos to make install simple. Works great....

This was easy for my husband to install and works just as promised. It was nice to have on our recent road trip so we could know with certainty that someone did not accidently leave the garage door open.

This product is awesome! Now we just check our phones to see if we shut the garage door. It was easy to install and activate. We can also open the door for friends or family if we had to run an errand and they were waiting outside.

Works great but when you have a wifi loss, it can be silly and challenging to reset this especially if you mount it on the ceiling, can be annoying, had to exchange it because the wifi wouldn't connect (tried 2.4ghz and still had issues when disabling 5ghz on route) even have a mesh puck within 10 feet. Also, it has produced 3-4 false "open" alerts which is scary when you aren't home, so I recommend having a camera of some sort in your garage like we do as a back up, and a neighbor you trust to come shut it if it does open on it's own (which it hasn't yet)

Have had this for about 4 months now and it works Great! You can find it on sale often and it’s well worth it. Easy install and does its job. Notifications a little delayed sometimes but I think that’s more of a WiFi thing.

Great product, easy to install, easy to use. You program the device to your garage door the same way you program your garage door remote. (If you don’t know how, it directs you to the on line programming instructions)

This a must have at this price. Always know if you closed your garage door without needing to return home to visually see it. Also great for easily letting people into your house when you are away.

Works great and safe a lot of money vs changing out entire garage door opener. Nice to know when garage door is opened with an alert and able to control opening and closing door from a far distance away.

Excellent purchase. Used this with my phone to automate my garage door. It was able to link with my Amazon app. Fantastic for using on my motorcycle to eliminate riding around with a Garage door opener

This product was very easy to install. I used it with our 15 year old chamberlain belt drive garage doors. I was able to setup to get a notification on my cell phone any time the garage door is opened or closed.

My husband was always turning back around to check to make sure he closed the garage, this has saved him from doing that. It works great and so far we haven’t had any issues with it!

Works well with the uses of two doors. Would buy again.

Best part is the price , then easy to set up and no drill or tools are required. Sensor works great and also app connects well. Only camera is missing which may come in later versions

Bought this device to be able to check if the garage door was left open. This device not only does that, but it also lets you close the door remotely if you find it still open. The installation instruction are very clear and easy to follow!

I love the smart garage door hub. I don't have it hooked to Alexa yet, I only operate it through my phone. I bought it on sale and it is worth the money. The device is easy to install, and I like that I can tell how long the garage door has been opened.

I installed the MyQ today and my first impression is there are more cons than pros about this product: The pro is this seems to be the best and cheapest solution on the market that is relatively easy to install for those who don’t want to spend hundreds to replace the whole motor and sensors. Does it work? Yes, it does but there are a few quirks. First, I bought this to automate my home. Like many people, I drive away wondering if the garage door closed all the way. This product allows you to check. However, the first thing I noticed is the app is faulty. Let’s say the garage door is open. If I close it using the app, the app might say the door is still open. I have to close out of the app entirely and go back in order for it to refresh and show the door is closed. This does not always happen but the fact that it did makes me second guess its accuracy. I hope MyQ corrects this in the near future. The notifications have been helpful and quick, so I have to give them props for it. Second, I don’t like that it is not compatible with Alexa. I have a Ring doorbell, Nest thermostat, Roomba vac, and Kasa smart switches and cameras. While they all have their own apps, Alexa has been the one AI that ties them together. With MyQ, it is compatible with Google and Nest, but on a subscription basis. I just feel it’s greedy of the company to make us pay for something that other manufactures offer for free. I wish I could ask Alexa if my garage door is closed. Finally, safety is an issue. We have a lot of kids on our block and we live in a safe neighborhood where they run around carefree. I have installed an additional Kasa camera in the garage to make sure nothing and no one is in the way before I close my garage. While the product comes with an audio and visual alert, I wish the audio alert actually speaks (eg “careful, the garage door is about to close in 10 seconds. Please stay clear”). The product feels more like a gimmick due to all its faults. I feel like I am going to use this product until Ring, Nest, or some other company have a better solution. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are okay with its short falls.

It took me 3 tries for the hub and the garage door opener to finally sync. Once it did, it was worked as expected. A couple of things to note about is product. 1. You can invite a max of 3 guest to use the hub. Each of them would have to create an account to use it. So if you planning to use this with more than 3 people you are out of luck. 2. When you use the app to close the door, the hub emits a audible sound to warn people that the door is closing. The sounds doesn't bother me but it could be to others. Overall, I like the product and have had no issues. I would recommend this product but first make sure you garage door opener is compatible.
