Bought this to use while on the golf cart or when friends/family come over. Easy to install and works great! Also love that I can see if the door is open or closed. Keeps from having to get up from bed to go check.

We haven’t had any problems yet with this device and it is nice to know the garage is shut whenever we leave the house. We felt the price was right to try this out and so far so good.

I installed the MyQ today and my first impression is there are more cons than pros about this product: The pro is this seems to be the best and cheapest solution on the market that is relatively easy to install for those who don’t want to spend hundreds to replace the whole motor and sensors. Does it work? Yes, it does but there are a few quirks. First, I bought this to automate my home. Like many people, I drive away wondering if the garage door closed all the way. This product allows you to check. However, the first thing I noticed is the app is faulty. Let’s say the garage door is open. If I close it using the app, the app might say the door is still open. I have to close out of the app entirely and go back in order for it to refresh and show the door is closed. This does not always happen but the fact that it did makes me second guess its accuracy. I hope MyQ corrects this in the near future. The notifications have been helpful and quick, so I have to give them props for it. Second, I don’t like that it is not compatible with Alexa. I have a Ring doorbell, Nest thermostat, Roomba vac, and Kasa smart switches and cameras. While they all have their own apps, Alexa has been the one AI that ties them together. With MyQ, it is compatible with Google and Nest, but on a subscription basis. I just feel it’s greedy of the company to make us pay for something that other manufactures offer for free. I wish I could ask Alexa if my garage door is closed. Finally, safety is an issue. We have a lot of kids on our block and we live in a safe neighborhood where they run around carefree. I have installed an additional Kasa camera in the garage to make sure nothing and no one is in the way before I close my garage. While the product comes with an audio and visual alert, I wish the audio alert actually speaks (eg “careful, the garage door is about to close in 10 seconds. Please stay clear”). The product feels more like a gimmick due to all its faults. I feel like I am going to use this product until Ring, Nest, or some other company have a better solution. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are okay with its short falls.

It may just be me but sometimes I can’t remember if I closed the garage or not so I love this device and app. Also used it to let someone in my house while I was coming back. Works great.

I love the smart garage door hub. I don't have it hooked to Alexa yet, I only operate it through my phone. I bought it on sale and it is worth the money. The device is easy to install, and I like that I can tell how long the garage door has been opened.

Wish it had a longer range because my garage is a very weird setup with 20ft ceilings- so sometimes it makes the process slow. Aside from that, I love that it allows me to see the status of my garage door—one of my biggest fears was pulling off and accidentally having the garage door reopen unknowingly. This device shows the status of your garage and allows you to open it from wherever you are. It also allows Amazon to leave packages in the garage with a “key”- which is an amazing service for people like myself that love within busy city limits where package theft can be an issue.

The installation of the device was easy. After several initial Wi-Fi and phone connection attempts, it works perfectly and we are very happy with it. No more anxiety "Is the door closed" as we drive away.

Works well with the uses of two doors. Would buy again.

Great Product! Great Price! Curbside delivery was fast and safe! MyQ Hub is WiFi accessed and works like another transmitter. Control and monitor from anywhere. No wiring (other than power). WORKS GREAT!

I love this because I could never remember if I closed the garage. You can use it with Amazon to have you packages delivered into the garage. It also works remotely with Apple watches. Don't worry about being locked out ever.

Unfortunately, I had to return this product because it would not work with later model Genie door openers like we have. I since have ordered a Genie product that does the same thing. I had no trouble returning the one that I had prrchased from Best Buy.

Very easy to setup and the app walks through the process with ease. Unfortunately, my garage opener was made in 2020 and the hub does not support it. Their website shows my make and model is supported but after multiple attempts and a call to support, my new garage door opener is not compatible. Would be great to use but I wasted over 3 hours trying to set it up and finally found out it doesn't work.

I'm sure we all have driven away from home and a few blocks later wondered... "Is my garage door open?" I already had a Chamberlain MyQ enabled garage door opener, and this was easy to install and connect. Easy to setup notifications too.

This is a great device to add to your garage door/motor, to control and monitor your garage door remotely. Don't have to worry anymore, if you forgot to close the garage or not. Easy set up, and compatible with all kinds of garage door motors.

I have a Chamberlain garage door opener and this works great. I particularly like being able to set up alerts. Also bought one for my daughter who has an Overhead Door opener and it works fine with it as well. Very easy to set up.

Exactly what we were looking for! Very easy set up along with a no fuss app. A win win for us for peace of mind and helping my older knees running up/down stairs to check if I forgot to close garage!

Works 50% of the time. Sometimes it cuts connection and sometimes it works right away. The app is good, but the notification is late. It's always about 3-4 hours late to notify you. So it kind of make you think that someone just opened or closed the garage when you've closed the garage hours ago. Probably a wifi with built in MyQ garage motor would be a better option or having a garage camera just to assure that you have a view of the garage.

Easy to set up as long as your garage door opener is compatible. Now I have peace of mind to close my garage with my phone in case I leave it open again. It sends notification when it's open. No need to screw and install the hub

I love the convenience of this tool. I no longer have to worry if I closed the garage or not. I also like the alerts on your phone if you do happen to leave it open. You can close it remotely. I definitely recommend
