The physical installation was super easy, ran into a bit of trouble on the app setup portion. The app refused to close the door but I lowered down everything, turned it back on and it was working perfectly. Took me 10 mins to install.

While this smart garage hub is compatible with Chamberlain garage door openers, it isn't compatible with Smartthings. The Smartthings integration is pretty much broken, which runs against it's advertisement. The beep time to close/open is also not configurable and is very annoying, to the point that nearby neighbors think an alarm is going off. The sensor also sometimes thinks the door is ajar when it has been closed, sending me unwarranted and inaccurate information. The device provides basic features, but overall the application needs some work.

this product will give you peace of mind when you've left your home and can't remember if you closed the garage door....just check the app for confirmation, or close the door if it was left open. Also can open the door for friends and family that don't otherwise have access. The downside for these units is that they occasionally go "offline" for no apparent reason....maybe they need a more robust receiving antenna to pick up a weaker wifi broadcast? otherwise a good option for the garage, and easy to set up

This product has already paid for itself. I’ve been able to: - let an electrician into my garage remotely to start work when I was running behind in traffic - open and close the garage when we took a friend’s car out instead of ours. Love it!

Worth every penny. This is great product that’s simple to set up & use. Allow visitors access to your garage or packages via Amazon key. Never need your keys when go for run if you have this app.

Peace of mind at a negligible price. I only wish is that it would work with Alexa, but small inconvenience. Easy to install and setup.

Absolutely love this smart garage hub. I gifted one to both my son and my father so now we all enjoy the security of knowing if our garage doors are left open or not. Great for a busy household!

Easy to install and use. A couple times the door has opened on its own for no reason. However we get alerts on our phone so we can easily close.

This is awesome as the kids can get into my home without a key. A little disappointed that the battery went out within a couple months but hopefully that wont happen again

I really like this product! I bought two more to give because is a must have. Knowing all the time if your garage door is open is a peace of mind. Also controlling your door on your phone is very useful.

Now I know when my garage opens, and it was relatively easy to install. I can also open the garage via the app for people - The other day, I let my gardener in to fix the water schedule and I was able to close it after he left. Great product!

Got it on sale. Fairly easy setup and works great so far. We will see how the little adhesive base will stay sticking on the door over time. So far the app and hardware works as stated

Great product to buy if you are always forgetting if you closed your garage door or not. Gives you alerts straight to your phone and is easy to install and use.

Purchased this for my parents. I have one built into my opener so rather then replace their opener, which is only a couple years old, I found this. I like the way I can add the myQ app to my Apple Watch and open and close the door while I’m riding my bike. The app could use some work for sure which is why I took one star. If they can ever get all the bugs worked out it will absolutely be a 5*! Now if you do your due diligence it’s always on sale somewhere. Black Friday it was almost half price! Worth it IMO! Install was easy.

This is a fantastic product, I moved into a home with a very spotty working opener. Being able to open the door with my phone and be notified when the door opens and closes is such a great feeling.

Purchased this to make my entry gate smart, but it really can't work in that role. It was a very simple addition to my garage door however, and has worked flawlessly for that purpose.

This works exactly as it says it does with my compatible garage door opener. It was the easiest way to make my new garage door opener a smart device that I can manage with my home automation app.

Did not work for me and I had to return it. I ended up buying a generic device that worked much better.

I don’t use it as much as I thought I would, but it is a neat upgrade for any garage door. It works with the Xfinity Home App on my IPhone and is a little weird to understand at first. It has good alarms and was very easy to install.
