I purchased this to keep from buying a new door opener with it built in. This work great. My buddy has the openers with it built in and my MyQ Hub works as good as his does. I have mine set up so it alerts me every time the door opens and closes. Being able to control it from anywhere is a plus. If I have something delivered I can open the door from work and have the delivery placed in the garage and I don’t have to worry about it getting stolen. I would recommend this to anyone.

This unit installed in about 10 minutes and works as described. It is a nice cheap add in that doesn’t eliminate the use of existing garage door openers and allows you to give access to family or contractors when you are not home. It’s also nice to be able to see the open/closed status at anytime and be able to set a night time auto close.

Really like this product. It not only offers more flexibility to a family for opening and closing the garage door, but you will never leave home again and wonder if in your haste to leave the garage door was closed when you left.

If you'd asked me a couple of months ago what I thought of my MyQ, I'd have told you that I loved it and it was such a wonderful tool to have. I'd have given it 5 stars. My husband picked our first MyQ up at Goodwill for a couple of bucks. It was worth every penny. If we parked in the street and the opener didn't work, we could open or shut it with the app. We had neighbors that needed to borrow a tool when we weren't home. No problem, just open the door from the app. Oops, did I close the door when I left? No problem, check the app. Did a family member get home? No problem, check the app and see if the door had been opened. Its benefits were endless. Fast forward to recently, when there was an update to the app. Our MyQ wouldn't show up on the app. According to tech support, it was connected to the system, we just couldn't see it. After hours trying to get it reconnected on our own, resetting it multiple times and more hours on the phone with tech support, we gave up. We decided to get a new MyQ at Best Buy and try it. It hooked up with minimal effort. It is up and running again. Yay! I'm glad that we have a MyQ again. The ways that this device comes in handy are endless. We missed it before we got the new one.

At the price its a great way to remotely open/close and monitor your doors. Also they've done a great job with the app as I add people and share and revoke access, which is nice when people visit or for my kids. I also like the added advantage of not leaving a garage door opener out in my car. Overall I love this, its easy to setup and use. Couldn't be happier.

Installation. Fairly easy and convenient and I’m a 67 year old woman. Note- ladder climbing is involved. Quality. Great. No problem to sync it with my Craftsman opener. Love the peace of mind that it gives me. No more wondering if I remembered to close the door. Syncs with Amazon so deliveries can be put in my garage if I choose it. Great way for my family to have access. Go for it.

This is a must-have device for any Smart home with a Chamberlain garage door. The app works great and allows checking on open/closed door status from anywhere, not to mention that you can open and close the door remotely. I have three doors all linked to the app. It gives piece of mind that your door is closed if you think you forgot to close it. Using IFTTT, you can also control the door by voice with Amazon Alexa.

This has been a life saver as I regularly leave the house without closing the garage door. For less than 50 dollars you can turn your garage door into a smart garage and open/close the door remotely from anywhere. This paid for itself within the first week after leaving the garage door open during a last minute hurricane evacuation and I was able to close the door without having to turn around or bother my neighbors with helping to close the door.

ios user. Set up is easy. Just follow the directions. Helps if u have a decent wifi signal in garage. Open and close the garage door from all our phones now. So nice not having to shiffle remotes around

This hub works great you can control your garage door opener without MyQ in case your garage door opener dont have MyQ then this is great item for you, the new garage door openers have MyQ already then you don't need this hub, but work very good also, can tell you when the door is closed or open and you can have your amazon deliveries to be left in your garage and no more stolen packages.

I just purchased this in July 2019 and the fee for Google Assistant or IFTTT interoperability has been waived. Personally, I've found IFTTT unreliable and it won't work with Nest Google devices anymore sometime next month. This product works as advertised. The beep, beep, beep issued prior to closing the door isn't as loud as some have written and I understand why they chose to go with it, for liability reasons. Same reason why Google won't OPEN the garage door. It will only close it or tell you whether it's open or closed. You won't find MyQ in the listing of devices within the app that work with it. You have to connect to Google via the MyQ app instead. Then you have to utter the inane command, "Okay Google, tell MyQ to close the garage door." I just created a routine that responds to "Okay Google, close the garage door" and that works just fine. Note that there's no built-in geo-fencing capability with this product but there are those who do have them. It would be nice to come home and have the door open as I pull into the driveway without having to hit the button inside the car but this product doesn't do that. In any case, it's a solid performer and it does what it says. I had BestBuy complete the installation and the technician was done in short order.

Can see and control your garage door from your phone. Easy to install. Excellent product for inexpensive price.

MyQ garage door opener is a great product. It allows you to open and close your garage wherever you are using your cell phone. You receive a message every time your garage opens or closes. You can also check if your garage door is open or closed. I believe every home should have it. I bought two MyQ's as gifts for a couple of friends, and they love it.

What can I say? The gadget works great.It was easy to install and the App download was fast and easy. I no longer have to worry about remotes. I run my three garage doors from my phone--I have three MyQ's.

I had been looking for something like this that would work with my other smart home devices so I wouldn’t need multiple apps but considering the price on this one I just went with this instead. It works pretty well but after the first 2 weeks my garage door kept opening and closing on its own. I unplugged this and looked all over the internet for what may be wrong and it looked like the unit had some previous complaints that some wiring malfunctions and it needs to be replaced. I’m a pretty busy person so I just left it unplugged and decided to cut my losses without having to deal with customer support. However, a few days later I decided to try it again and plugged it back in. It has been about 2 mo this now since then and it has worked flawlessly so I’m assuming that it was some kind of network issue or something since it works great now. So if you have the same issue, try unplugging it for a day or so and try again before trying to return it or get it replaced.

Good door opener. Easy to install and mobile control.

No issues with remote garage opener. This is a must have for those who have an older garage door opener that doesn’t already have the wireless feature included. The app is good no issues in quite some time. Can’t say how many times this has been a lifesaver while traveling. I tend to leave the garage door open but get reminders sent to my phone that it’s open. Highly recommend

This is a fantastic add-on to our Chamberlain Garage Door Opener. Being able to open the garage from anyWHERE at any time and have a history of which designated user opened and closed it at the exact dates and times (even from the button inside the garage) is a convenience we absolutely love! Setup took no longer than 20 minutes. Can't believe what we got for such a low price!
