Sometimes, the App that controls it will not open or it takes a couple of minutes. When I want to get into my garage, I want the door to open NOW! So, at times it is very frustrating dealing with waiting for the control app to open! Therefore, I must give call it good and give a four star rating.

Most of the time was spent trying to sync up the MyQ Smart Garage Hub with my Chamberlain garage door. It took 5 iterations before it would sync up. On the features for this product, Chamberlain says it will Open and close your garage door from anywhere with your smartphone. In the app for my garage door, it says Monitor only. Is there a way to change this? Having emails sent to me when the garage door is open and/or closed is a good feature. Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes, if you're ok with Monitor only. No, if you expect it to open & close your garage door.

Good but not alway reliable

However, one day it decided to reset and not connect to wifi anymore. Had to redo setup and sensor and hub didn’t want to connect with my liftmaster garage door at all. Tried multiple times and was still not connecting after re-pairing again and again.
