Came free with my preorder of the ring doorbell. I had no idea and Best Buy randomly sent me an email saying they attached the item. Thanks! The set up was easy, I used a drill although not super necessary. It lets us know if we forget to close the garage door and can open and close from the app. We like to use that feature when we go on walks.

Overall, I am happy with this little device it was really simple to install and it acts as a remote to your current garage and doest replace any part of your garage, but an add on instead. you keep your current garage setup and the app even has videos to help assist with installation making it super clear. Gripes : -- Closing the garage : you tap to close from the app, the light flashes and there are a series of beeps and then it eventually closes. I get its for safety purposes, but it's also quite annoying and loud enough for your neighbors to hear too. That really needs to be an option to disable & personalise --the light is only for that purpose, cannot control the LED light on the unit at all. --the app is not all that great and can be re-worked to be more like the August app for reliability and consistence -- if you want this to work with google, or IFFTT, then THERE IS A $1/MTH charge. seriously. --be mindful of wifi box location for connectivity Praises : integrates perfectly with amazon key app/service, which itself is handy for letting you know when your garage is clsoed or open, unlike their app --easy to install --works great for guests you allow access to the unit

Has many features I like. Quiet, when closing the door slows down at the end, great remotes, I can check it's open/close status on the app and open/close it if needed. My only complaint is that on the wall control mounted near my door the time display is constantly resetting and staying at 12:00. I got tired of resetting it all the time, so it's only correct twice a day.

Great Product. Works as expected and was easy to setup. My only issue with the product is it requires a paid subscription to work with Google Home

I often double check to make sure I closed the garage door .... No more! This will tell you open vs closed and for how long. You can turn off/on notifications if on vacation. You can even open and close your garage door with the app. Installation took me about 15-20 minutes. My garage door opener is a Chamberlain model

I got this after locking myself out of my house, and having the spare hidden in the garage, ended up loving it! it's so easy to set up and use, and the fact that you can link it to google is a bonus, just be aware google cant open the garage out of safety. also, if you have Vivint they will charge you and additional 50 bucks to link the services

I just starting using Vivint smart home security. I wanted to use their smart garage feature but it wasn't compatible with my garage door opener. As a work around I purchased this product. It does the job, easy to set up and install. I actually was able to install it with no tools required by mounting the hub on the wall with sticky velcro strips.

it is a very useful gadget. With the camera in the garage, I could let delivery people left the things in the garage, close the door if I forget on the way to go working. the disappointing part is not naturally working with Alexa, Google Home and Apple home. I cannot direct voice control it.

Love it. Allows me to control my garage door opener at the same price as buying an additional remote. I can monitor when it opens and closes so I know when family members are coming and going. If I can’t remember if I closed my garage all I have to do is look at the app and see if it’s open or closed. Highly recommend and easy to install.

This actually works quite well using the app on my phone. However, it would not let me set it up through my android phone. When I used my wife's iPhone, it set up very easily and works great now on all our phones. It's definitely worth it, as long as you know about the android setup bug.

This thing is great. Easy setup. Nice to be able to remotely check if the garage was left open. Scheduled check at night to close it if it's open. Temporary or scheduled access for additional users (guests, cleaners, etc.). And! If you have Prime, it enables Key by Amazon, so packages are left in the garage and away from porch pirates.

Installed for about a month now. After the initial issue of backward function (app says door is open but door is closed and vice versa - which was quickly resolved by replacing the $5 battery in the door sensor), this unit has performed above expectation. I love being able to tell at any given time - regardless of where I am - whether or not my door is open or closed. Who hasn't driven all the way to work and then wondered whether they closed the garage door? Also, push notifications alert you every time the door is opened or closed - great for monitoring who is coming and going from the house. Our regular garage door remotes (in our vehicles) are finicky when it comes to operating the garage door, so this functions as a reliable back-up when those darn things just don't want to do their jobs. Best of all, the timer function to close the door automatically at a certain time every day is brilliant - as there have been many nights where our door was accidentally left open until the next morning (will never happen again thanks to this product).

Set up was fairly simple and got it to start working in 10 minutes. I do not know what to do to get it working with Siri and HomeKit though? Can anyone help me out with this?

This has come in way more handy than I had expected. Its great to have to let the kids get in whenever they need to. Also I love the fact that you can have multiple houses on the app. So lets say I have to drop something off at my parents I no longer have to worry about carrying around another door opener for their house.

I bought this product for $69.00 when it first came out a few years ago, then last year I bought another one for my parents because of ease of install and use on app. Then I bought a 3rd one for my detached garage. They work flawlessly! Now you can get them for about $20- a steal of a deal!

Very happy customer. The device was quite easy to install and connect to app along with our wifi. Does everything it promises!

Watched reviews and setup on product, but was still hesitant to purchase. Sale price was too good to pass up however to I purchased. Setup was super easy as it took a total of 15 minutes to fully setup. Since then product has worked flawlessly and I no longer have to worry if I left my garage open.

The unit works well and I like knowing when my garage door is opened or closed. The only thing I don't like is that I have not found a way to use Alexa with it unless I subscribe to Amazon Prime...you can use others, but not Alexa. It is easy to setup and operate.

Works great for the price. I can open/close my garage from my phone and it sends me a notice as well. Also, it was simple to install. Only issue was I tried Amazon Key garage delivery and the delivery guy was not able to open my garage. I need to test it again.
